"Ugh, I thought you said you were good at basic magick" Eva groaned getting up as she dusted her dress.

Douxie rolled his eyes as in to say "Well not really I guess" Archie joined in "He's only being with the master for a decade, at least he's not playing magic tricks on people for money.

 Douxie glared at him.

"Fascinating" Eva said with a breathy voice.

Douxie looked up to her as she wandered around mesmerized by the number of books in Merlin's office.

"Evanora, the witch of Albereska"

Merlin's voice came from the front desk by the window.

"Or should I say, The enchantress Evanora?"

Merlin finally averted his gaze at her. She looked at him in slight surprise.

She curtsied at him and he bowed. "Your mother was my familiar, She was a fair maiden," He said with a sad look on his face. Eva smiled, she talked a lot of you and read me your books too" He looked at her with affection in his eyes.

"Um, if I'm not interrupting, how do you know her name, Master?" Doxie interrupted.

Merlin looked at him with disappointment. "I trained her mother for a while. Until she had to go away for Eva's safety." He took in a deep breath "But well, that was the past. You can come here to read anytime Eva, the doors are open for you, I know you'd rather train yourself than be trained you do better that way" Douxie looked at her with slightly raised eyebrows.

They decided to stroll in the market when it was already twilight, they quietly enjoyed the peaceful pink and purple stroked sunset as Eva broke the silence. "My mom used to walk me to the streets at this time, it was like symbolism for a peaceful end to a new dawn." Douxie starred at her.

"I never got to see my parents,"

Douxie said looking away. Still having a thin grateful smile "But I was given to a woman named Chelsea, She was like a second mother to me.

She never realized she was raising a wizard. But when she knew that she asked me if I could put a show on the streets so maybe it could get us some extra pennies. That's how I met Merlin"

"well, A wizard-like Merlin on the streets? He definitely had a purpose, He chose you." She looked at the sky with stars in her eyes.

"and he chose you" He whispered, She looked at him demurely.

He softly held her hand.
"We're both of magick, I don't think we should be worried about anything like immortal matters, anymore." She whispered back

She raised her pinky "you've got my back Douxie?" She smiled at him. he intertwined his pinky with her's "Always, Evanora" He said wistfully.
