𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐢𝐫, panic was all I felt the feeling of not getting enough oxygen filled my mind. As soon as my mind understood I wasn't drowning I finally calmed down. As I gathered my thoughts, I realized that I was standing in a pitch-black void. "Where am I?" I asked before noticing a small, bright light that shone in the dark in a pacific spot. I couldn't help but be attached to it like a bee to honey. My legs moved by themselves as I approached it. Right after I laid my left foot down, a small ball rolled onto my right foot, almost touching it. As I stared at it, I noticed that it was a dark purple ball but what caught my attention was the bright neon yellow color that appeared to be smeared inside of it. I bent down to grab it, but before my fingers could touch it, a pair of feet appeared in front of me. My fear made me hesitate before quickly moving my head up to see whose face was in front of me, but before I could see their full face, they grabbed my head and held it. I felt a pair of soft lips peck my forehead as they ran their hands gently through my hair. I couldn't speak before I knew it I was engulfed in their embrace.

"It's time to wake up, y/n. Please wake up and save the world before it is too late. You can't stay in this dream forever. I won't allow it. There are people out there who need you. Just know we love you."

When she spoke, I couldn't keep my eyes open and was unable to keep my head up. " Wai.." I could not bear the weight of my eyes. " I love you too..." then it went black again.

In a flash, my eyes opened thinking I would be able to talk to the woman, but instead I found myself in an entirely different setting. "Where am I?" I asked myself as I let my eyes wander. Was this a hospital room? I tried to get up but a shot of pain shot through my body. I groaned and told myself to go slowly this time. Eventually, I managed to lift my aching body all the way up, but then I noticed needles and tubes stuck to my arms. Despite not knowing what they were for, I still didn't want them in my arms. I couldn't keep my eyes off it. It made me feel itchy. "I hate this" I murmured, averting my eyes from my arm. Instead of focusing on my arm, I focused on my surroundings.

I sat in a small but open-spaced hospital room. I looked to the right of me to get a huge glass window that was slightly cracked open. The window displayed a beautiful view, and the sun looked as if it would not stop shining anytime soon. Each side of the window had two thick white curtains hung around it. There was a calming aesthetic appeal to the cherry-scented room . Although the walls were freshly painted, they still chipped. I hadn't noticed before, but on an old yellow-painted dresser you could find dozens of bouquets of flowers, plush animals, and get-well cards. I softly placed my hands on the flower wondering if this is the flowery scent I smelled earlier. The flowers that stood there were beautiful and looked freshly picked. „Who was taking care of you guys?" I whispered to them gently. As my hands grazed the flowers, it landed on a red-colored card. Upon touching the cover, I noticed the words "Get better soon" spread across the front of it in big white letters. Taking the card in my hands, I softly flipped the front and back covers apart, scanning the names which were scribbled there. I gazed at the name and the little Messages.
