The Other Land

Let our voices carry,
dear wind,
across the seas
to the other land,
where the lion
plays with the mouse,
and feeds her the
poison words.

Around the bend,
comes escape,
for the souls of his prey,
held captive inside
the den,
contempt with the binds
of their slavery.

Chasing Tomorrow,
when you will wave our victory,
the truth
will be set free
for the mice not picked clean
by the lion's vultures.

Set free!
Set free!

They fly on their wings
flown by one,
my dear wind,
for it is you that supports
her wings.

Let our voices carry,
dear wind,
across the seas,
to the other land,
so that they might see
the star of life
rise above
the mountaintops.

Permit their ears the ability
to hear the message,
our pleas,
for the mice are lost
in the thick of the jungle.

And, dear wind,
let our voices carry,
across the sea,
to the other land.
