Lana was walking down the hallway heading to her locker when someone grabbed her arm.

"Daisy! Don't you know know how to use a person's name?" Lana exclaimed.

"Well, I tried calling you a couple of times but I guess you lost your sense of hearing." This was Daisy, Lana's best friend. Lana just chuckled and shook her head at what she just said.
"There's a rumor, you might want to know about it."

Lana raised her brow "Since when am I interested in rumors?"

"Well you should be, cause this time it's about you."

"What are you talking about?" Lana has never been the center of attention, actually she never wanted that.

"First of all,is there something your not telling me? I've been trying to reach you this weekend but you turned your phone off."
Lana sighed and leaned against the locker beside her.
"What's with the sigh? See,there's definitely something."

"I'll tell you about it, first tell me whatever it is you were gonna tell me."

"Theo and Aaron fought. Aaron still has visible wounds on his face. He even has a black eye. I haven't seen Theo yet. But the thing is people are saying that they were fighting because of you."

What? That couldn't possibly be real.

"It's just a rumor and besides you haven't seen Theo yet. Aaron gets into random fights so he could have been in a fight with anyone. I'll catch up with you later, I don't want to be late for class." with that Lana walked away,not bothering to listen to Daisy. She was not ready to talk about Theo. She still needed time to think about what to do next. Talking about him now would only confuse her more. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't notice a person standing in front of her. As a result she bumped into the person.

Theo.

"Hey watch where-" after catching sight of who the person was,she was unable to finish what she wanted to say. In a flash, her eyes saw a cut on his beautiful lips and a slightly red mark on his left cheekbone. Was he really In a fight with Aaron?

"What happened to you?" The words just slipped out of her tongue before she could think.

"Nothing serious." he placed his hands in the pocket of his jeans and looked down.

Liar. Both of them knew that.

"Yesterday when you left,did you go at Aaron's place?"

Theo clenched his jaws but nodded as a reply.

"So it is true.. That you and him fought?" Because of me? She added that part to herself.

"I couldn't hold back the anger Lana what was I supposed to do at the moment"

"I forgot you had anger issues and I forgot you always act without thinking." Lana spoke, referring to what happened about a month ago.

"I only did what I did because of what he did to you." the look on his face could make anyone hug him and burst into tears.

But it didn't work on Lana. "So is it a thank you card you want?"

"He hurt you Lana!"

"Yeah," she walked closer to him "And so did you!"
With that,she left.

Theo punched the locker that was beside him, taking out his anger on it.
The owner of the locker was there "Hey man,the hell do you think you're doing on my locker?"

Theo eyed him "Would you rather have your face beaten up instead?"
The guy backed off.

Just as Theo was about to leave he caught sight of Daisy,who was also looking at him. How long was she standing there?
She walked towards him "You have a lot of explaining to give. Just so you know I'd rather dodge the first class to know what the hell is going on."

When it came to Lana, Daisy would sacrifice anything. She was a real definition of a best friend.
