-Y/N POV-

I open my eyes, finding myself in a very dark room. I attempt to move but quickly find myself strapped to a cold metal table. This is some kind of interrogation chamber, I can tell. As we were taught back on Krieg; not speaking means they will hurt us and kill us faster; allowing us to suffer for our transgressions against the Emperor. I will not say a word. A single light is flipped on, revealing an older gentleman at the other side of another table in front of me.

"Good day. My name is Professor Ozpin, headmaster of this institution. You may call me Ozpin. What is your name, good sir? I will also mention that cooperation will allow me to remove you from that table." He looks at me differently than everyone else. He looks at me with the gaze of a human looking at another human.

"You won't get a single thing out of me, Heretic. Just kill me already. I have done my duty to the God-Emperor, I will find my place by his side," I snap at him, glaring at him.

"I have no intention on killing you and you appear to have quite the zealous belief system to call me a Heretic when I am being so civil."

"Civil?! You Heretics are anything but civil! Who are you with? Tzeentch? Fuck you!"

"You misunderstand. I do not know who this 'Tzeentch' is. What I think is that you're a man away from home. Where are you from?"

"I am a Grenadier of the Death Korps of Krieg! You Heretics are sure to hear our name again when we come to wipe you out!" I spit at the man but it doesn't go far enough to reach him.

"Krieg sounds like a location. Where is it?"

"...wha...?" What kind of significance does this have? Look at a fucking map... "Segmentum Tempestus. Are you illiterate? Probably... What kind of interrogation is this? When are you going to begin asking me for installation locations or something like that?"

"That is none of my concern. See, I have no knowledge of pretty much everything you're talking about. I have never heard of 'Segmentum Tempestus' or 'Tzeentch'. I have not heard of this 'God-Emperor' either." That's when it hits me; if that's true, I am... so incomprehensibly far from home.

"...But... you're human, are you not?"

"I am indeed. Other than Faunus, what is there?"

"If you're human then... I don't understand... How can you be human and not know of the God-Emperor...? What World is this?"

"You are on Remnant. From how you are speaking, I assume you come from somewhere which has interplanetary travel?"

"Indeed... I... You don't seem to be lying..." I look down, going mostly limp. Where am I? Emperor, is this a test? Are you testing my dedication?

"Please, indulge me; who is the God-Emperor, who is Tzeentch, what is the Astra Militarum?" I spend maybe the next hour or two telling this man named Ozpin all I know about the Universe; the Chaos Gods, the Warp, the Emperor, the Inquisition, the Astra Militarum, etc. He listens the whole time with a very keen interest. As I finish up my explanation with "That's about all I know", he sits back in his chair and then sips from his mug.

"I see. You appear to be from a different Galaxy if I am correct. You got here through this Warp and now you're a fish out of water because you have been raised to revere this God-Emperor who has no presence here. This may be an issue indeed. You have already called one of our finest huntresses a Heretic, though it is unlikely she would've liked you anyway. Well, welcome to Beacon Academy." Ozpin stands and comes around to my side of the table, beginning to loosen the straps which were holding me to the standing table.

"Academy?"

"Yes, as I previously mentioned, I am a Professor and the Headmaster here at this institution. We are a place of learning. And, before I allow you to just go walk free, I must ask... please, curb that 'will die for Krieg's transgressions against the Emperor' thing. You will just make a lot of people uncomfortable. You know what, just... try your best to not speak about this to anyone at all. I will get you set up with a language teacher so you can actually learn how to speak our language. While you can be understood if one pays attention, you are almost impossible to understand."
