They grunted and hugged me tighter, "Levi it's okay! It's me Erwin." I felt Erwin's deep voice vibrate off his chest against my back, but My brain acted slow..."Erwin?" I felt him nod. I almost felt relief being held by him.
But the fight wasn't over...

Erwin pov)
When we arrived to the fountain of youth we took a different way then the map said, we made it there first no one was around but when an hour rolled by I could see Levi his mouth covered in a rope.
As colossal was talking to Levi, Levi met my gaze, I wanted to assure him it would all be okay now. But after a brief moment Levi turned his attention to the opening they just came through, more men entered the cave, I noticed a single man was walking with a quick pace.
I couldn't see why because colossal was blocking my view, but I could tell it wasn't good as Levi's eyes widen. I watched as he reached for something, but I was unable to see who or what had him so upset.
"I-ISABEEEEL!" Levi shouted, I froze and realized the situation I watched in horror as Levi was shaking her and screaming with tears running down his face "GOD NO" he shouted again as he was crying his hair was harshly pulled back as colossal shoved a glass vial onto Levi face smiling and laughing with joy.
Levi suddenly shoved away, falling into muddy dirt. That's when I gave the signal, and we rushed in, metal began to clang and shouts were all that could be heard in the cave. Hanji took on colossal for me while I rushed to make sure Levi was okay.
When I got close to him, I could only watch in horror as his injured, shaking form was reaching out desperately for Isabel's hand. Tears still quickly rushed down his dirty face, I came closer to him "Isabel please no" Levi spoke softly like he was broken. As I got closer, I only could watch as he gently rubbed his fingers against her face.
That's when I felt guilty, I decided to face that guilt later though as Levi was my top priority. I wrapped my arms around Levi small form pulling him into my chest, I sat him up as gently as I could, but he suddenly bit down on my hand. "Levi it's me! Erwin" I quickly spoke, hoping that would calm him down, even though he had every right to want to be away from me.
Slowly Levi spoke "Erwin?" I nod. Levi began to relax a bit, "I thought you were dead? If you're alive, that must mean farlan! Where is he I- I don't see him?" I frowned, "farlan didn't make it..." more tears poured from Levi's eyes.
"I'm going to kill him!" Levi growled, I gave him a concerned look, "Levi?" I asked confused Levi's eyes held murderous intent before I could respond Levi grabbed my sword and quickly got up running over to where colossal was fighting Hanji.
"Good god, Levi, wait!" I quickly got up, but I was charged by another pirate Levi had my sword, so I had to quickly shoot and steal the enemy weapon.
I continued to search for Levi and when I found him, he was pinned down on the ground by colossal's sword. Levi growled, then suddenly did a high pitch scream that made everyone freeze and cover their ears. Including me, I watched in pain as colossal backed away, dropping his sword reaching for his ears.
Colossal now pissed reached for his gun and aimed it at Levi who held colossal's abandoned sword. Levi still had the intent to kill, but I didn't want more blood stained on his hands because of me. But I knew Levi needed to do this for himself, I took the sword out of his hands and shoved the gun in its place.
Levi quickly accepted the gun and fired at colossal multiple shots went off to shoot colossal all over his body, he fell and blood began to cover the ground.
When colossal's crew noticed what happened they all began to run away leaving the cave and trying to escape their death, I let my crew go after them.
Levi suddenly turned to me, his gaze softened, "I-is it over?" He quietly asked, I nodded "yeah" Levi took a deep breath and released it as he began to sway and fall. "I got you!" I quickly said as I caught his limp body, fatigue, and stress must've finally taken over.
I picked his body up bridal style, keeping him close to my chest.
After a few minutes, Hanji came running back to us, "all of them have been handled! Not a single one lives" I nodded "Erwin I-I mean Captain Smith, how do we know he won't hate us or try to kill us?" Hanji I assume was talking about Levi "we don't, this is going to take a lot of time to heal and trust needs to be regained It's up to Levi".
She nodded sadly "I'll go get Isabel" I gave her a smile and she walked away I waited for her and once she returned we began to make our way back to our ship.

(Time skip to a week later)
Levi had finally awoken, but when he did, he refused to talk... even to me. It's been a week now, and he refused to move or shower he was beginning to stink, and I had enough not even his wounds were cleaned.
I knocked on the door to my bedroom, no response, so I opened the door the room smelled foul, and I found Levi wasting away on the bed he looked to see who was there then looked away.
"Levi I know you're upset, but you need to shower and start eating! Not to forget, we have to take care of your wounds!"
Levi didn't respond, so I came over to the bed and picked him up, he glared and tried to struggle, but his weak body could not fight me off. We headed straight to the bath, once we reached it, I began to fill the thing up with warm water. Once full I gently set him in the water, cloths still on.
"Levi you have to start taking better care of yourself"
I sighed, "do you think Isabel and farlan would want this for you? " Levi flinched at that, "what would you know?" Levi suddenly spoke. His voice harsh from lack of use, "I know they cared deeply for you and in times like this they would be kicking you and me in the ass for things becoming this way"
"I don't know if this is true or a just a legend, but there is a story to the fountain of youth not only can it make
The drinker immortal but it can bring life back" Levi looked up at me his eyes held hope "but their body's?"
I sighed "Hanji has been keeping their body's cold and oxygen hasn't reached their corps for long there is still hope"
From this, new light somewhat returned to Levi's eyes, "how do we attempt this?." He quickly asked "same
Method as the immortality we need tears but instead of just the tear drops going into the gauntlets their body's will be laid into the water" Levi nodded "then let's go-" Levi spoke quickly as he tried to leave the bath, I stopped him and pushed him
Back into the water "I'm sure they would want you to be clean and healthy before they greet you again"
Levi nodded in realization, "can I help you wash up?" I asked gently, Levi nodded.
After Levi was clean, we quickly took care of his wounds and got food into his body, I promised him the next day after some rest we would try to bring Isabel and Farlan back to life. Now we both lay in a clean bed, I could tell he was anxious, "Levi?" I asked quietly, "hmm?" He responded. I gently wrapped my arms around his body and pulled him close into mine.
"Try to relax I promise I'll try to bring them back"
At this Levi released a breath and relaxed his body into mine" I- I want to avoid trusting you, but my instinct tell me to but if you harm me again Erwin I'll make sure to kill you" I laughed "I will accept this punishment"
With that, I closed my eyes.
