Story:

It was 11:19 pm and everyone should be in bed by now, but as usual Shellington was still awake in his lab, doing some research. You start to get impatient...

Y/N POV:

Where is he? I thought, I leave my room and head to the lab, yep... he was still doing research, I sneak up behind him and hug him, slightly startling him.

"Oh! Y/N, why aren't you in bed?"

"Why aren't you in bed?"

"Oh, sorry love, but I have more research to do!"

"You can do your research tomorrow Shelly..." I reply, slightly pulling on his lab coat,

"Don't worry love, I'll go to bed soon, just let me finish this, 'kay?" He replies back, I make a quiet Hmph sound before burying my face into the back of his lab coat, still tightly hugging him.

After a few minutes, I hear a book close and I suddenly get lifted off the ground, I rest my head on Shellington's shoulder as he carries me out of the Lab and towards my room. Normally he sleeps in the Lab standing up, sometimes I wonder how he manages to sleep while standing up. Shellington enters my room and sits on the edge of my bed, still holding onto me. We cuddle for a few minutes until he looks at the time,

"We should probably head to bed now love, it's nearly 11:30 pm now." He reminds me,

"Can we cuddle for 10 more minutes?" I ask, not letting go of him,

"We can cuddle later, love. Come on, let's go to sleep now." He says. We both lay down in bed and he wraps his arms around me.

After a few minutes, I begin to slowly fall asleep...
