My slumber wasn't peaceful at all. I kept dreaming about what was going to happen tomorrow. My mind just wouldn't relax. I woke up to my alarm clock. I groaned loudly and slammed my hand against the off button. I stumbled to my closet and rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes.

I didn't want to stand out more than I already was going to so I put on a simple dark blue, crew-neck top with light denim jeans. I scrambled downstairs and chewed on a pop tart. I started making a list for what to buy at the grocery store when I saw the time. I brushed through my hair and brushed my teeth quickly. I put on my raincoat and grabbed my backpack and keys and rushed out the door.

The clouds above were thick and shaded gray. Little droplets of rain were starting to fall from the sky so I jumped into my truck. I turned on the engine, making it roar to life. I eased my way out of the driveway and followed the map to my school. I had to slam on my breaks because the school sign was barely visible. I made a sharp right turn and pulled into the parking lot. Not many people were here so I kept my eye out for any signs that told me where to go. I followed a sign that said 'Main Office' and parked in the 'Visitor' lot.

The rain outside turned from a few droplets to a down right down pour. I pulled up my hood and tuck my bag inside my coat. I ran to the cover above the door to the 'Main Office' and shook my hood off. I walked and side and saw someone talking the the lady at the front desk so I sat down. I looked around the room, looking at every details. The was were painted a soft yellow that made the dim lighting a little brighter. The front desk was center right in front of the door. It was small and had papers stacked neatly all on it. Two book shelves were to the right and there was a larger waiting area with green furniture set up. "May I help you?" The dark skinned lady sitting behind the front desk said directly at me.

I quickly snapped back into reality and replied "yes, i'm new to the school... and i'm not sure where to go" I almost said in a whisper. "Name?" She said while typing on her keryboard. "Isabella Swan" I said, watching her hands glide on the keyboard. She turned in her seat and started looking through piles. She pulled out three sheets of paper. "You'r cheif Swan's daughter, aren't you?" She said with a friendly smile. I put on a fake smile and nodded. "Well, here is your map of the school, Schedule, and slip that you have to have your teachers sign. Oh, and welcome to Forks High." "Thanks" I replied.

I pulled my hood back on as I walked out the back door. I looked around the brown seperated bulidings trying to locate where I am on the map. I was so busy looking at the map the a ran into someone, looking up quickly. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention.." I said turning red with embarrasment. "No, it's fine. You're Isabella Swan? Right?" An Asian boy with straight hair down to his ears asked. "Bella" I corrected him. "Sorry, so you're new to the school, welcome. I'm Eric" he said with a smile. "Nice to meet you" I responded with a smile back. "So where's your first class?" He asked while looking at my schedule. "Building four, English" I said as I felt uncomfortable as he stood so close to me. "Oh great!" He said beaming. "I have it too."

He walked beside my, guiding me to our class. It was nice to have a friend right off the bat but kind of weird how eager he was to be my friend. English went by in a blur, we were talking about Romeo and Juliet (which I already read) so I was pretty much day dreaming the whole time. "What class do you have next?" He asked having hope in his eyes. "Government" I said looking down at my schedule. It was like his hope was washed away leaving nothing in his yes. "Oh" is all he said before walking away. I watched him leave and went to class. Government flew by just like English did. 'Good' I thought. Maybe the day will be like this. I walked into Triganomatry and handed my teacher the slip. After he signed it he pointed to where I should sit.

I sat next to a blonde hair, browned eye, fairly light skinned girl that seemed to be bouncing out of her seat. "Bella, right?" she said with a smile. "Yup, that's me" I said smiling back. "I'm Jessica" she said before the teacher hushed us. Trig, and Spanish went by fast aswell. Soon it was lunch time and by the time I set foot in the cafeteria, Erik was by my side. "How was your day?" He said walking besides me to the lunch line. "Good" I said keeping to short. I grabbed a P&J with chocolate milk and stopped in the middle of the cafeteria. I had no idea where to sit. Erik came behind my and put his hand on my shoulder. "Come on, you can sit with me" he said while walking to a table. I smiled 'thanks' and followed him.

"Guys, this is Bella" he said cheerfully. I sat down when Jessica said "hey Bella. Nice to see you again." I smiled and waved. "Oh, you know Bella?" Eric asked as if she was competition. She nodded and gave him a strange look. The lunch and the couple of periods after went by fast also. It was time for gym and I already knew someone wouldn't come out not hurt. I slipped into my PE clothes and tried to convince my coach that I SHOULDN'T play volleyball but she ignored me and put me in the back line. As soon as she blew the whistle the game began. I tried to keep out of the balls way but I managed to be right in it's way. When it came at me again I hit and it hit a guy right in the head.

"Oh my god, i'm so sorry! I told them they shoudn't of let me play" I said turning red again. "It's cool, you're Isabella right?" The blond hair, blue eyed boy said. "Bella" I corrected again. "Nice to meet you, i'm Mike" his face quickly turned like I done another thing wrong. "Is.. something wrong?" I stuttered. "No, it's just that you're from Arizona right?" He asked with the same look. I nodded once still not understanding. "Aren't you suppose to be tan?" he asked, his face slowly turning into a smile. "Oh ya, I guess that's why the kicked me out" I said teasingly. He laughed, and shook his finger at me "you're funny Swan." I turned red again and walked back.

I was so happy that the day was finally over. I didn't think I could take anymore of Eric's constant side patrol. I took off my coat in the truck and closed my eyes for a couple seconds. Then looked into the glove department to make sure my money for grocery's was still there. When it was, I started up my truck, which made many faces turn to me. I quickly drove out of there embarrassed.

I went straight to the grocery store and bought everything on my list. I felt pretty pleased to actually manage to shop by myself. When I got home, I started making dinner. I was in the middle of putting the season potatoes in the oven when Charlie came in. "Smells good Bells" Charlie said while making his way to his recliner. "Thanks" is all I replied. "Hey Bells, do you mind if Jacob and Billy come over for dinner tomorrow night?" Charlie asked hopefully. I bit my lip thinking if I bought enough food. "Sure" I replied thinking I could make the Lasagna.

I placed the plates, cups, silverware and napkins on the table. I puts the marinated chicken and potatoes on the table as well. I poured Charlie and I ice tea. "Dinner" I said. He rushed over and dug right in. After dinner I cleaned up the mess and headed upstairs. I finished my homework and took a shower. Putting on clean pajamas, I slipped into bed.

All that roamed through my head is what was going to happen tomorrow. I wanted to sleep, I could already feel my eyelids start drooping down. So I nestle up in my covers and let my mind drown into a dreamless night.
