Time Magic

chapter 4

Jumping brach to branch a little winded from the chase I mentally call out to Theria to get my friends location. As I am approaching I hear my friends bickering about their time travel bet it sounds like they are pissed  no one won. "I can't believe no one called out for a village in medieval times or a place in the middle of no where" said phoebe annoyed. "Yea one things for certain Nicoles powers seems to like ancient and medieval themed times so why didn't anyone call it" said Anthony dinozzo. "One things for sure is Nicole certainly  knows how to leave an impression on time period they all want her" replied Ford (a funny sarcastic  vampire apart of a great extended family mixed of vampires and shifters).  Laughing at that comment I drop down an say  "I would say they were looking for the fountain of youth but I would be lying they just can't stand my opinions".
They all start chuckling and all began to ask the usual what is going on question. "I will explain  but come this way" I lead them towards a place that will welcome us with open arms. While walking  I explain the sheriff is looking to get information on one of my good friends. He is also looking to arrest me for assisting a fugitive who steals from the king. I explain the taxes the king unfairly  places on them are so high here the hard working people are dirt poor and are starving. My friend takes back the money and gives it to them so they can survive.  "Wow sound like the Robin hood legend" said Paige. Just as she said that we walked into a cozy little campground and two people who I know really well jump up take one look at me and say "long time no see nicole". I walk over and give both a hug and say "its good to see you guys". I turn and begin introduce them to my friends. I say "guys these are my friends Robin Hood and Little John ". I see jaws drop open. "Are you serious  you know The Robin Hood" said my sister. "Who do you think taught me more archery  techniques" I replied. My friend Hawkeye aka Clint said " I am so going to need to talk to him about more shooting methods and maybe an autographed photo".
Little John says to Robin while nudging him "looks like you got a fan". After that comment Hawkeye began asking Robin so many questions. While that is going on i see the immature  group  members  mocking Hawkeye  but it was quickly put to rest because Gibbs and a few others at the same time did a back head slap to shut them up causing everyone including the chatting pair to begin laughing.
While everyone was calming down from today's antics piper volunteered to start dinner. I help piper by conjuring up every thing she needs  to cook.
Once I was done with that I turn and ask Robin is it ok if we stay with them a while. Robin and the others know once in a time period it next to impossible  to warp to another time period until the reason I am here is complete or another portal opens. Robin agreed  that it was ok for us to stay. Normally I don't mind sleeping under the stars but we have some new people and young children with us. So I  make a tent like Robins appear but its a little bigger and has a way to latch it that looks like its from that time frame. I than cast a spell on the inside that makes it a modern home on the inside with many rooms a kitchen with the works and the best part plumbing and electricity. The best part of this spell is if someone who doesn't know us fully  just sees the inside of a regular tent which is a bed roll and some provisions of that time frame. I decided after to gather more fire wood for the the camp.  While grabbing various sized twigs and branches  a twig snapped. Since I didn't get a foreboding feeling  I knew it wasn't an evil being. "You really should not be wandering around alone you always seem to attract trouble I" hear someone say. "I don't attract trouble trouble just knows how to find me like it finds you pheobe" I say. "Touche do you need help" she responds. "The more the merrier" I say. We gather wood till dinner  is called. After a delicious meal the children are getting tired so I show them the tent they all rush to various rooms and get into bed. All the adults decide to stay up late and talk while some of the vampires go forage some animal blood for their infrequent meals. The talks lasted pretty much till near midnight with everyone leaving at different  times till it was just me and Robin and Little John. They asked me about my encounter with the Sherrif and if he was extra peeved off this time. Apparently Robin not only stole prince John's wardrobe and money again but stole the sherrifs badge and taxes he just collected. Robin  also mentioned  stealing  the Sherrifs belt that when he ran after Robin he mooned everyone. Apparently  the Sherrif goes commando which for an overweight Sherrif is something I did not want to picture in my head. Laughing I shook my head no disapotment on my face I wished I could have watched the Sherrifs reaction but miss the mooning part. Shortly after that story Robin and Little John  turned in and I was left alone with the dying embers an owls hooting in the distance. In this moment  I wonder what my life would have been like if I never got my powers. Probably  boring  with taxes work and family drama that dosen't  include physical fighting. I remembered  my first couple of years when I first discovered I had magic and boy was it a doosie.
