Time Magic

chapter 2

What a beautiful day birds chirping bees buzzing what a beautiful day for a walk. Wait where did the sidewalk go oh no not again. "When will you get control over this" shouts my sister and my other friends as we fall though a turbulent portal. I honestly  have no clue when this will fully be under  control but I am praying to myself  anywhere but ancient Egypt. The reason for  this is every time I am there during the time of Moses I get a paralyzing  sickness  which I can't explain and it always starts when Moses goes back to Egypt and confronts his step brother  till the final plague comes.

As I am thinking this my friends begin to place bets on where we end up this time. One hundred on us ending up in another dimension shouts eragon a young dragon rider from another dimension. "
Two hundred on another planet shouts Luke a jedi master. I cook the next meal if we end up somewhere nice and relaxing
shouts piper. Your on everyone shouts knowing  pipers food  is amazing. If that happens  my powers finally took us on a vacation. Just as the turbulence begins dying down we are all spat out of the portal.

We all had various falls out of the portal some of my friends fell on top of each other, while others rolled into whatever was in their way. Mine was less graceful I got caught on something  and am dangling at least five feet  in the air. You heard it right I got caught on something and am now dangling about five feet in the air.

While trying to dislodge myself everyone was getting up and dusting themselves off and I can hear my friends and family teasing each other about beingin their personal space and checking to see who's missing. Hey where is nicole? Asked Cara nervously (I met her and her werewolf mate Tristan a while ago Cara was abused as a child so she has alot of confidence issues). Up here I shout. Everyone  looked up and burst out laughing at the sight of me I couldn't help but chuckle along since it is uncomfortable but funny. While Everyone is laughing Luke uses the force to get me down. Thanks I say as I dusted my self off. No problem do you know where we are said Luke.

At this moment I look around and see nothing but woods. I than decided  to check my clothes which has a habit of morphing into clothes I need to blend in (they also have pockets that are like storage anything  that goes in regardless of size  and shrinks to fit in a pocket  dimension and anything I need will appear in the pocket while necessary). My clothes took on a medieval look with greens and browns and in a medieval style dress. I also had a brown cloak and my bow and arrows were visible. We are definitely in the past and I think I know where we are if it is where I think I haven't been here in years. In the distance we can see a little village that looks like it has seen better days. I would say medieval times due to the style of dress nicole is wearing. 

Looking at my clothes I say to my clothes you had to pick a dress you know I hate them. At that comment my clothes change to a simple tunic and trousers of that time period as my friends began chuckling at me arguing with my own clothes.  Let's go check this area out some of the younger and newer friends traped with me said as they began to run to the village. Hey wait a minute I said. They stopped and looked at me like I was ruining their fun. Rolling my eyes  I flick my wrist while pointing my finger and all my friends clothes changed to fit the time period and their personalities. Ok now you can go and check things out without drawing attention to yourselves.

Last thing we all need is to be accused of being a witch its a headache  to get out of those  accusations. They looked at each other smaking their foreheads and said I forgot different times  different  clothing thanks. No problem  let's see where we are this time" I said while pulling  the hood of my cloak up. My friends look at me confused  I don't  wear cloaks like that unless necessary but don't say anything. Time to see if my hunch is correct.
