I wake up with a groan. I take in my surroundings and immediately become confused. I feel someone next to me and I tense.

“Morning!” a chipper voice says. The voice is coming from the person right next to me. It’s a girl. ‘Oh god. Please be Daisy.’

I turn to look at her and instead of finding Daisy, I find her sister. Well shit. This is going to be a hard one to explain.

“What the hell am I doing here?”

Her smile immediately falls from her face.

“You don’t remember?”

“Obviously if I’m asking what happened yesterday it’s because I don’t fucking remember. Don’t you think?”

She glares at me and gets out the bed. She quickly starts getting dressed.

“Get out.”

I scoff and get my belongings. As I’m walking out I hear her yell after me.

“Don’t ever show your face around here again!” She slams her door and I cringe.

What the hell was I doing here? Lydia had gone to college 2 years ago, and, by the looks of it, I was at her dorm. What happened last night?

My phone starts ringing making me jump. Trent’s name is flashing on the screen. Wasn’t I at his house last night?

“Hey,” I greet as I answer.

“Where the hell did you go last night?”

“I somehow ended up in Lydia’s dorm. Want to explain how that happened?”

I hear him laughing and I groan as I realized that I’ll never hear the end of this.

“Dude! You got totally trashed last night!”

“Thank you Captain Obvious. What the hell happened though? Last thing I remember is going to your house an-“ I cut myself off as memories of last night fill my mind. Aiden. Daisy. Fuck. A sharp pain goes through my chest, but I push it aside.

“Is that him?” I hear in the background. I know that voice.

“Tell me that’s not him.”

“He just want’s to know if you’re okay. I lost track of you last night and I called him to see if he knew where you were. That’s all.”

I hang up and chuck my phone. I take in my surroundings and I suddenly realize that that might not have been the best reaction. I let out a long string of profanities as I realize that I’m miles away from my house and I have no way of getting back.
