"You should stop fidgeting so much, makes it easier to pick on you." Baji laughed, finally stepping away.

As if his legs stopped working, Takemichi stayed still, not knowing what to do and how to react. Was he threatened? He did not feel threatened but not safe either. He tried to wrap his head around what just happened until Baji's voice called for him.

"Are you frozen? Let's get going."

"Y-You didn't answer my questions!" Takemichi shouted. Without thinking, he grabbed Baji's uniform in an attempt to pull him back, although, with his puny strength, the longed-haired male did not budge.

"Do you know anyone with blue eyes?" He repeated, his grasp firm enough to turn his knuckles white. He expected Baji to push him off, as he had the strength to do so easily, but despite that, he stopped in his tracks.

"Why do you want to know?" Baji just responded, looking unsure of what to do as well.

Takemichi gulped. It would be a risk, he considered. To open up to the person that just threatened him.

But Takemichi had done worse.

With the vaguest explanation possible, Takemichi told Baji of the night's prior events.

Of course, he omitted nearly half of it, as in no way was he telling anyone, especially someone he just met, about the whole time leap thing. Still, Takemichi tried his best to recall all the instances where he had felt watched, and those blue eyes that had so strangely stared at him.

To articulate everything into words proved to be difficult, as even he had a hard time grasping what had happened. Takemichi flailed his arms around to explain each of his points better, Baji seeming to get it while nodding along.

Despite the initial nervousness, Takemichi found comfort in being listened to. It did not happen often, he will admit, the fact that Baji focused on every word helped Takemichi calm down from the wave of anxiety that had piled up throughout the day.

They continued walking, Takemichi's muted voice and Baji's quiet listening being the most tranquil minutes in the entire night.

"So someone stared at you weird?" Baji asked once he noticed Takemichi was done talking.

"To put it simply, yeah. Like he wanted to beat me to a pulp."

"Someone you've never met?"

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna need more clues than just blue eyes."

"Urm-" Takemichi's steps faltered. Blue eyes were the only thing he remembered. How fucking embarrassing. "Blue eyes are like, not that common. You should know someone."

"I do know someone, but it does not sound like something Chifuyu would do."

"Chifuyu?"

"My vice-captain." Baji simply responded. "I know him. It doesn't sound like something he would do. He would not stare, just go to beat you up."

"Lovely. Well then. Anyone else?"

Baji rolled his eyes, running his fingers through his hair as he appeared to be thinking. Takemichi felt like crossing his arms and sighing, but he did not want to appear disrespectful.

"I don't know."

"..You don't know? Aren't you a captain?"

"Yeah but, I don't fucking know! I don't memorize people's eye color! You're the weird one for not remembering anything else!"
