you were about to open your mouth when someone has beaten you up to it.

"what are you talking about? they've only met once and that was todoroki's birthday party. right?" midoriya asked like nothing.

shoto nodded to support his friend. "and besides, dating is strictly banned in shiketsu." shoto added.

"unless you're the dean's daughter and you're dating a pro-hero's child." zion said as a matter of fact with a smile on his lips. "y/n may i have a word with you?"

"the rest of you can go back inside. the hot springs will be ready any minute," aizawa said.

everyone felt the mood in the air. the atmosphere was dull and weird and... dangerously dark. there really is something wrong now.

is this a retreat or a halloween special?

kirishima glanced at bakugo with worry. of course he knew, and he felt something was wrong with it too.

"bakugo..." kirishima called and tried approaching bakugo but the ash-blonde glared at him.

"y/n. you are dating todoroki shoto, aren't you?" zion asked after the both of you entered a room in the inn.

"no we are not."

"you are engaged."

"we are not any longer."

"so this is why mr. l/n told me to make your training regimen harder than before." zion said with a grin. "you're neglecting your responsibilities."

"i am choosing for my own life to live. i do not want to be betrothed."

"y/n. you're not getting anywhere without him."

"i do not—!" you exclaimed. "—intend to get anywhere with or without him!"

zion's expression became darker, sending chills down your spine. your bravery slowly dispersed like magic.

"oh... y/n." zion called as his hand slowly crept to your cheeks, cupping it gently.

"you are getting somewhere, and i am here to help you with it," he said with a smile.

"i do not need your help. i do not need anyone's help. i do not want to reach anything!" you yelled while still standing on your feet.

zion slowly lost the smile on his face as you feel his grip on your cheeks tightening. "y/n. i'm gonna make you a hero, whether you like it or not. it's such a waste of a good quirk if you won't use it, right?"

"you want to marry shoto? you'll have to be a hero to please endeavor. that's the only reason why you're here at shiketsu."
