It has been a few minutes of awkwardness, Ned has finally came outside. We all started to walk to school. Ned and Peter were mostly talking about science, leaving me to be bored.
I don't really like science, like what's the point? I don't need it in my life. I don't really care about any of my lessons, I know everything anyways.

As it's a new year, everyone changes seats in class. Hopefully I'm next to MJ or ned? I don't really care about sitting next to Peter.. it would be quite awkward honestly. Our timetables don't change so that means I have to stay in the same lessons, Peter is in all of them apart from English.

As we all arrived at school I ran up to MJ. Peter and Ned just looked at us and chuckled. They both walked inside whilst we (me and MJ) headed to our lockers. I opened mine and grabbed my science book. As I had science first. I said goodbye to MJ as she didn't have science with me, then I walked to lesson.
There were pieces of paper on each desk with our names on, telling us all where we are sitting for the year. I found my name, Y/N. It was 2 seats on one table, I looked at the person next to me and well.. it was Peter.

That's just embarrassing, he has to sit next to me for the whole year?!
Our seats were located at the back of the classroom. My chair was the one next to the wall on the left, Peter sat on my right. We both just looked at each other and smiled.
Awkward.
After a few minutes of silence, Everyone sat in their new seats and the teacher spoke up.
"Good morning class, welcome back to school!" He spoke,
"I hope you all like your new seats as we have had a bit of an arrangement, you'll be happy to hear that your new partners for your experiment will be the person sat beside you!"

Great. I looked at Peter. He looked at me, this caused tension. He finally spoke up.
"Well Y/n, as you're crap at science.. I can show you a few things at my place!" He teased.
I just replied with..
"Oh hush Parker, we all know you're such a 'pro' at science, kinda happy to be partners with the class nerd."
He chuckled.
The teacher spoke up once again,
"Okay class so our experiment for this month will be freestyle, it's a competition on who can make or build the best project!"
Great.
"will there be a prize this year?" A boy asked.
"Yes! In fact the prize will be a 2 night trip to London!" The teacher replied excitedly.
Everyone gasped.
That sounds cool, I guess..
As we're in New York it will probably be a long flight on a plane. But I don't mind that much..
I kind of hope me and Peter will win.
A 2 night trip to London is a one time experience!
"Well Y/N, my place after school so we can get a head start on our project?" Peter spoke.
"Oh um sure! Not that I'll be much of a help anyways.." I giggled in return.
Yeah. I probably won't be much of a help, but it's worth a try!
I also don't want to make any mistakes as Peter gets quite overprotective with his science work. It's like it's a newborn child or something!
I guess I'll just have to wait and see what he instructs me to do tonight.
He's kinda cute when he's bossy.

I'm kind of happy that I'm working with Y/N, she doesn't really understand science so I can be the boss.. I won't be to harsh on her tho, only because she's Ned's sister!
I really want to go to London, hopefully Aunt May will agree to let me go.. Y/N is like a little sister to me, as I'm Ned's best friend and I ALWAYS look out for her.
I don't like her in that way tho...
I like Liz, she's pretty cute. Not that I'll ever date her tho. Maybe I could?
If she's into nerds..

The bell has finally rang, it's time for next lesson now. I walked out of class waving at Y/N and I went to find Ned as my next class is English, me and Ned are both in English class together, Y/N isn't tho. That's okay.. she in all of my other lessons I suppose.
I greeted Ned with our handshake then we started walking to English.
I told Ned about me and Y/n being science partners, he was fine with it but he told me not to do any 'freaky stuff' to her. Like, who does he think I am? I love Y/n as in a second best friend..
