anyways, let's get on with the story.

*peters pov*

I am now in English class with Ned, still thinking about what he said..

*flashback*

I told Ned about me and Y/n being science partners, he was fine with it but he told me not to do any 'freaky stuff' to her. Like, who does he think I am? I love Y/n as in a second best friend.. nothing more.

*end of flashback*

It's a bit weird tho..  like, he was probably joking right? Yeah surely he was.. but why can't I get it out of my head..
I'm not sat next to Ned in English. I'm quite glad honestly because he keeps reminding me.
I don't know why it's such a big deal on what he said, but it affects me so..
Luckily, I'm sat next to Liz in English.
I tried not to make a fool out of myself because after all, I do like her and I'm trying to make a good impression. Liz struggles in English.
I know because I kept an eye on her last year,
She sat next to flash who didn't help her, flash mostly flirts with MJ. I don't think she pays attention tho. That's the funny thing. I like MJ, she's cool and she looks after y/n. Not that I care.... In that way.

Anyways, back to the point. Liz asked me for help in her spelling, of course I helped her. I leaned in closer to look at her book. I could hear her exhaling quite loud, was she nervous?
Don't think she was but.. why would she like a nerd like me??
I looked up at her, her dark brown eyes glistened. She's so perfect.
"Meet me after school peter, I have to tell you something." She said whilst smiling.

I remembered that I had plans with y/n that night, for our project.. I don't think it would hurt to be a little late? I'll just change the time to later. I'll tell her at lunch.

"Okay sure Liz." I replied smiling.
I tried my best not to blush.

The English teacher spoke up,
"Okay class," she went on
"We are going to be doing a spelling test tomorrow.. so I suggest that you all get prepared."

I didn't really mind much as I'm decent at spelling. I tried to talk to Liz but the teacher told us to get on with our work, so I did.
I can't wait for what she wants to tell me.

I am currently in Art class, sat next to MJ.
Yay!
As I was painting a colourful, landscape collage.. I told MJ about Peter and me in science.
She just chuckled and said..
"You definitely like him y/n, it's so obvious."

I gulped at her sudden words.
"Is it really that obvious?" I replied back nervously.
She looked at me,
"Wait, you actually like him? Because I wasn't 100 percent sure." She laughed.

I looked at her, my eyes widened.
She turned back to her art piece and she shook her head whilst laughing.

I can't believe she knows now. She better not tell anyone..

*15 minutes later*
I've finally finished my landscape, collage piece. It turned out pretty good as I'm not that good at art.

*imagine it looked like this*
I used plain tissue paper and painted them different shades. Then stuck them on my paper and just kinda went with what I imagined to make, a mountain scenery with towering trees.

Beautiful, I've always wanted to go to the countryside.

About 30 minutes had past and it's lunch time.
me and MJ normally sit with Ned, sometimes Peter depending if he wanted to sit with us.
Me and MJ both queued up in the line waiting for a while. When it was my turn to order, I looked at the menu. I ordered a cup of pasta with melted cheese on top. I grabbed a fork and walked to where Ned was sitting. MJ soon followed me after.

"Hey Ned!" I said smiling.
"Oh hey y/n! What you eating?" He questioned.
"Oh just some pasta in a paper cup, nothing special." I chuckled.
Me and MJ both sat down opposite Ned.
"Where's Peter?" I asked Ned.
"I'm here." Peter replied whilst sitting down next to Ned.
Ned was facing MJ and Peter was facing me.
I started to eat my pasta, MJ ate her ham sandwich and started to read a book.
Typical MJ.
"Are you not hungry Ned?" I asked.
"nope not really," he answered smiling,
"Big breakfast."

Peter smiled and then spoke up.
"Hey y/n?" He asked smiling.
"What's up pete?"
"Can I talk to you please? Like right now." He said more nervous.
I told him yes and he grabbed my arm, walking to a different table. We both sat next to each other.
"So, you know about tonight?" Peter said as he moved a bit of his hair out of his eyes.
"Yeah? What's up," I replied.

"I'll meet you at my home like 10 minutes after school as I need to talk to Liz, do you mind waiting for a bit so I can walk home with you?" He smiled.
Why did he want to talk to Liz?
I'm going to sneak and see after school what she wants to tell him.
No no, not creepy at all. Just curious.
"Oh sure meet me at the school stairs then?"
He agreed to and we both walked back to the table where Ned and MJ were both looking at us..
