Prince Seonghwa no one really knows how he looks like for his always in the castle and hidden away from the public and for you Song Y/n, you were just a normal villager. You always despite the royals and the upper classes, they were rude and didnt care about others. It was hard for you and your family for you came from a poor family just like the other villagers. Your family served the royals but neither of you had met the prince before for its forbidden. One day you were given the duty to get some fruits from the village but on your way back you nearly got ran over by a carriage. A young and stunning man quickly got out and went over to check on you. "Im so sorry Miss i didnt mean to, are you alright?" He ask you offering you his hand. You just nodded and got up on your own. "Why would you come out to check on a lower class like me?" You narrowed your gazed at him. "Well first of all I nearly ran over you so i should make sure your alright and second shouldn't you thank me?" He replied. "Thank you happy now? Also i have to go" you said. "Where are you going?" He asked. "I have to go to the place i was sent out to get some fruits." You said. "Well do you mind if i gave you a ride?" "If you offered it alright. Thank you btw" you replied. The both of you go on the carriage and went to the place during the ride you guy had a small chat and turns out he wasn't as bad as you thought.
Y/n: What's your name?
Seonghwa: Mars. What about yours?
Y/n: Y/n but you can just call me n/n
Seonghwa: cool a pretty name for a pretty lady
Soon you guys reached and you got off.
Y/n: Thank you for giving me a ride.
Seonghwa: No problem n/n. Lets met again the same place we met at 4:00pm tomorrow.
Y/n: Alright, see you tomorrow Mars.
You entered the placed and went straight to the kitchen.
Y/n: Hey mom, im back
Y/m/n: Gosh! why are you covered in dirt?
Y/n: Hehe i nearly got ran over by a carriage early but its alright im fine.
Y/m/n: Becareful next time do you hear me
Y/n: Alright mom

~The next day~

Right at 4pm you left your house and to the place where you and Mars met yesterday. After waiting for a few minutes he finally came.
Y/n: Took you long enough
Mars: Sorry, i had some errands to run earlier
Y/n: It alright. Come sit here.
He took a sit next to you and the two of you continued chatting away. Days have past and everyday the two of you would met up, have fun together and chat. Soon you realized that you were slowly falling for him, i mean how can you not? That man is literally perfect his kind, funny, polite and dont even get me started with his looks, his just absolutely gorgeous. Today just like every other day you were at the spot you guys usually meet up at but its been an hour and he still havent shown up. You decided to wait for a little while more and soon he arrived.
Y/n: Hey what took you so long
Seonghwa: Hey Y/n. I have to tell you something
He took a sit next to you.
Y/n: Go ahead what is it.
Seonghwa: Promise you won't get mad at me
Y/n: It depends
Seonghwa: Alright, I know you hate the royals but im the prince.
Y/n: What?........ Your the prince? Like your Prince Seonghwa?
Seonghwa: Yes
You quickly got up and bowed to his.
Y/n: Your majesty.
He placed his hand on your shoulder stopping you.
Seonghwa: Please, dont treat me differently.
Y/n: Alright, but why didnt you tell me earlier.
Seonghwa: I wanted to but i didnt want to ruin our friendship.
Y/n: Its alright, Im not mad at you i understand
He pulled you into a hug.
Seonghwa: Thank you so much for understanding n/n. Also i would like to invite you to a ball. My dads want me to get engaged so we are holding a ball on Sunday and dont worry about your dress and things like that i got it prepared for you. Just come to the ball please.
Y/n: If thats what you want alright.
But in reality you really didnt want to go. You didnt want to see him get engagedaged to another woman but what can you do.

~Time skip at the ball~

You've been walking around trying to look for him but he was no where to be seen. Soon trumpets were played signaling the royals are coming. As soon as Seonghwa entered your eyes where glued to him and be was looking at you too give you a small smile. Seonghwa now had to choose who he would like to be engaged to and you really didn't expect this but he walked towards you and next thing you know he was already infront of you on his knees.
Seonghwa: Y/n, the one and only love of my life will you be my queen and stay with me for the rest of my life?
Y/n: Of course i will
He quickly got up and pulled you into a hug spinning you around. Placing you down he pulled away from the hug and slowly leaned down to you. His soft lips touched yours as the kiss was sweet and loving, you can feel his love for you in the kiss. At this moment you didnt care whether people will hate you or if his parents disagree with you being his fiance all you knew was that you are finally happy with him the one you love the most with all your heart.
