Tears like diamonds
Hard but beautiful
They fall down to the ground
Will they ever be refound
Tears like raindrops
They water the soil
And fade away as sprouts blossom
One often forgets
That it's they who made the flowers grow
The seas are wide
Wide and salty
And as my tears dry away
A salty crust remains on my skin
Could a world's tears fill an ocean?
Bitter sweet we say
But truly bitter comes first
And it is as our wounded senses numb
That the sweetness can come
We say that tears dry and fade
They do not leave scars on your cheeks
But just look into my heart
You shall see that they forever mark the soul
Tears like a pile of rocks
Come and confirm crushed hopes
But once you decide to overcome
You take these rocks and build a new home
