It's a short lyric poem about how my mothers perfume overtakes me . It's about the very first perfume and gift that my dad ever gifted my mother before they got married !!! When I was eight , I persuaded my dad to get me the exact same one as mom but he bought me another one of the same collection n said that I should make my own distinctive smell than sharing mom's !!!

I would rather die by the cold harshness of reality than by a dream that was supposed to make me not destroy me.

(It's a poem!) Sometimes losing someone doesn't feel like an ending. It feels like walking back into the ruins and noticing all the things that are still there. After the Fire is a poem about love, regret, and the things we carry long after everything is over.

🏆 Frost Town Poetry Contest - Grand Prize Winner 🏆 Every New Year's Eve, we stand at a moment that feels different. Not just another minute passing, but something more. This poem weaves time, memory, and possibility into a tapestry of words that dance between what is and what could be. Drawing inspiration from stream of consciousness writing, "Midnight's Whispers: Where Years Collide" explores the magical threshold between years. The poem uses vivid metaphors that transform abstract moments into something you can almost touch-memories swirling like "liquid light", time bending "beyond its seam". Winner of the Frost Town Poetry Contest, this piece goes beyond simple description. It's a journey through the emotional landscape of a single moment, where each heartbeat contains "a universe wide". The language plays with rhythm and imagery, breaking traditional boundaries of storytelling. If you've ever felt something special during a New Year's countdown - a sense of possibility, a flood of memories, a glimpse of something larger - this poem speaks directly to that feeling. It captures the way a single moment can hold countless stories, dreams, and potential. Ready to experience a minute like you never had before? #Poetry #NewYear #Reflection #TimeAndMemory

(It's a poem!) Recently I've been feeling more lonely recently, it's not really something permanent or really loud. It's just this quiet feeling of loneliness, of the realisation that you're on your own. That nobody is there, nobody will hold you, listen to you, it's just you. This feeling has been following for quite some years now and recently I've started taking more baths than usual and although it sounds silly, I came to the realisation that taking a warm bath is pretty close to a hug, a comforting hug.
