Promised (Ciphercest)

The Cipher Twin

"Come on, push!", the doctor said to the woman in labour.

Screeching and screaming can be heard from the woman as she's frantically breathing and crying from the pain."PLEASE JUST GET THIS THING OUT OFF ME!", she begged.

After a few hours of torture inside the the room, the first born is finally out wailing the loudest cry a newborn baby can do. A sigh of relief comes from the mother until another jolt of pain hit her, after five minutes of another series of pain the second born is out...but he didn't make a sound.

The room is quiet for a few seconds, then the doctor and nurses hurriedly checking on the the quiet newborn. His heart stopped beating, his face turned almost blue as the doctors and nurses tries to get rid of the excessive liquid that's blocking the newborn air ways. After a few desperate tries, the newborn started gasping and coughing. All of the people in that room cheered as the newborn cries can now be heard but not as loud as his twin.

"What are you going to name them ma'am?", the nurse asked the exhausted weeping mother.

"The first one would be Bill and the second would be William".

~10 years later~

Sounds of children chattering and cheering can be heard as the school bell rings signaling that the school is over. The children leave one by one emptying the school only leaving some of the employees and students that remains here each have their own businesses.

One of the student is Will, it have been a usual daily thing for him to wait for his older twin brother Bill so that they can walk home with each other despite Bill telling him he could go home first. However, Will hates the idea of going home alone without his twin. Walking home alone is scary and dangerous, the last time he walked alone he got chased by a wild dog. Luckily, Bill is nearby with his friend and comes to his rescue. They throw stones at the dog until it run away leaving Will. Bill always there whenever Will is in trouble and saves him, sometimes Will wonders if his brother have magical powers.

One of the other reason he doesn't like going home alone is because their home environment is unpleasant to be in. Usually their father would beat them up for no reason or go out with his friends and become black out drunk by now and their mother would go out with suspicious people everyday leaving them starving without any food. Sometimes she brings guys home too, she always tells them to play outside everytime she brings them.

Mommy said they were her special friends and that they were playing some adult games that children can't play. Will always wonders what kind of game that is but everytime he ask Bill, he always changes the subject or don't reply at all. Will thinks that his mom's friends are nice people since they would give them gifts and compliment him saying that he is sweet or an adorable little thing. Some of them even ask him if he wants to play the adult game with them, but everytime that happens Bill would throw a tantrum and screams at them.

Bill would kick and scream and even hurts mommy's friend. After that Bill would bring him outside of the house and go somewhere far away. Will always get scared of Bill when that happens, but he's scared for Bill more because he knew that mom is going to hit him when they get back home. Will would always cry when that happens and Bill would always hold him close and tight. It calms Will down, even if his brother become mean sometimes Will know that he have a reason for it and always forgives him.

Lost in thought, Will is sitting on the school bench not realizing that someone is creeping up behind him.

"BOO!", the blonde boy shouts appearing out of nowhere.

"AHH!", Surprised, the blue haired boy falls of the bench and curls into a ball trying to shield himself from whatever it is that was behind him.

Amused by his brother's reaction, the blonde boy abrupt into laughter. "BWAHAHAHA- you're such a scaredy cat Will!".

Recognizing the voice of the laughing boy, Will looks up to find his brother holding his own stomach to make it stop hurting from laughing to much.

"and you're meanie head Bill! I thought something was going to attack me".

"Yeah, yeah, whatever scaredy cat".

"Here", Bill pulls Will from the ground  and pats his clothe to remove the dirts that's on.

"Where were you anyway? I waited for you for a while now", the blue boy ask.

"Yeah sorry 'bout that, we were trying to get 8 ball out of detention but we were caught by the teacher so we got to play hide and seek for a bit". Bill always hang out with the bad kids and 8 ball is one of them. All of the people at school says that they are terrible kids but they always treat Will nicely unlike the others. Will guess that it has to do with his brother being their leader. Bill and Will are known as the Cipher Twins at school, Bill is popular among the teachers because of how often he gets in trouble and Bill is known as the weak twin getting unwanted pity remarks by people.

Because of that they don't really have friends, that's until Bill become the bad kids leader that they have someone to hang out with besides each other. After that people have been less annoying and didn't bother them as much but Will still get bullied sometimes whenever Bill is not with him.

"THERE YOU ARE!", they turn around to find the source of the sound and found an old man panting heavily while pointing at them. He's wearing the school guard uniform that's drench in sweat and seems to tight on him making his beer belly popped out.

"SHIT! RUN!", Bill grabs Will's hand and they both run as fast as they can getting out of the school.
