Estelle POV

I woke up to knocking on the door, I yawned and looked at the time, 12:34 pm. I can't believe I woke up so late.

I got up and went to answer the door.

"Hey baby, I was starting to think you were dead" my mom laughed as soon as I opened the door

"Yeah I went to sleep pretty late" I said

"I know so did I but here I am, okay so I made you lunch and I already cleaned up now I'm heading to work, be good okay, I'll be back later" she said as she kissed my forehead

"Okay mama see you later" I said as she walked off

I closed and locked the door. I remember everything that went down yesterday and that was embarrassing but that girl deserved it.

I looked outside and even tho it was December, the weather was still nice and it was a little warm. I decided to go for a swim.

I went into my closet and picked out a two piece silver bikini.

I put it on and put my hair into a ponytail.

I took a mirror selfie and posted it.

I grabbed everything that I needed and headed downstairs.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed the food that my mom made me.

I was eating when I seen Benito walk in. I tried my best to ignore him but he just stared at me like if he wanted to say something but he didn't.

"Morning Estelle" he said

If hes going to pretend like last night didn't happen then perfect, I'm going to ignore him.

I ignored him and walked outside once I finished my food.

I opened the sliding doors and went outside. I laid down on one of the pool chairs and just soaked up the sun.

I heard the doors open and someone step outside. I already knew it was Benito so I closed my eyes.

"Can I talk to you" he asked as I ignored him

"Estelle please" he said

"mmm no I don't feel like it" I answered

"Stop acting like that please" he begged

"What do you want" I opened my eyes to look at him

"To talk to you about last night"

"Okay"

"It was totally wrong of me to even kiss the girl but she came on to me first I didn't do anything to make her kiss me"

"You still kissed her back"

"I know and I shouldn't have, I'm so sorry and if you want me to leave I can but please forgive me"

" you really hurt me and I don't know if I can forgive you right now, I'm extremely mad at you" I said as I got up and went back inside

At this very moment I didn't like him, I was angry and hurt by him. I still have feelings for him but I didn't want to be around him.

I went upstairs to change into something else. Once I was done I looked all over for a necklace that would look good with my outfit, when I didn't find it I remembered I let my mom borrow it. I went to her room to look for it.

When I didn't see sit on her dresser I looked in her drawers. I looked in her last drawer seeing that it wasn't in any of the other ones. I found a little bag that contained the necklace. I picked it up and something caught my eye.

It was a newspaper article from the 2000's, it read car crash leaves man dead and 2 injured.

Why would my mom have this ? I kept reading and the man that died was Esteban Lara. That was my DADS NAME.

I was so confused, Is this why my mom didn't want me to drive. I kept looking seeing that my mom had more newpaper articles.

There was one from 2 days ago, Man from the 2000's car crash that was found dead, is actually alive.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I kept reading.

Man who was pronounced dead at the scene from the 2000's car crash, Esteban Lara, is actually alive and faked his own death. Mr Lara was seen walking out of police station earlier this week. Lara was busted on drug trafficking charges, he bribed police with $10,000 to help him fake his death but why? Apparently he had a family and he didn't want his wife finding out about his dirty job, because faking his death and making her suffer is better, anyway so because he didn't want his family to have a bad image of him he faked his death. The police who helped him fake his death have now since been fired and charged. We did get a chance to talk to Lara and he said that he is going to look for his daughter to meet her.

I stopped reading once the article was over but I couldn't believe it. He wasn't dead and he's looking for me. I couldn't believe it, I felt so many emotions, I don't know why my mom kept this a secret. I need to talk to her. I grabbed the articles and took them to my room.
