Its been about two weeks since Benito left and honestly I wasn't doing so good. The fact that he didn't say goodbye to me is messed up. My mom and I haven't talked much since our fight and I didn't really want to. I was about to graduate tomorrow and I couldn't be happier honestly.
I had just got home from graduation practice so I went up to my room and changed since a couple family members were coming over. I put some blue jeans with this super cute sparkly top on and since I already did my hair and my makeup I decided to leave it that way. I set up my phone and took a picture. When I was all done I posted it.
I went down to the living room and sat on the couch.
"Oh good Estelle you're all done"
"Mhm"
"There's someone super special coming back"
"Dad?"
"Oh I just got a text that he's here"
I was curious so I got up and went with her to open the door. When I tell you I almost fainted, I almost fainted. It was Benito.
Why did he come back? I can't believe he's doing this to me.
"Hola Estelle"
I didn't know what to even say right now so I just gave him a weak smile.
"Don't be rude okay? I'll be back, I have to change"
She gave him a kiss on the cheek as I sat down. Benito looked at me and after a while he sat down next to me.
"Why did you come back" I made sure to whisper because I didn't want my mom hearing me
"I wanted to make things work"
I rolled my eyes, "with me or my mom"
"Doesn't matter"
"Yes it does matter"
He didn't say anything.
I checked to see where Dante was and thank god he just got here. I got up and opened the door. He looked at me confused
"How did you know I was here"
"We're sharing locations Duh"
He laughed and hugged me, "oh yeah I forgot"
"Hurry come in"
He came in and saw Benito on the couch looking at me again with a confused expression
"I'll tell you later"
He nodded and went up to Benito cautiously
"Hola beno"
"Hola" He got up and gave Dante a hug
"Dante ven"
I grabbed his hand and dragged him to sit next to me on the couch
"He literally just came because he wanted to fix things"
I whispered as quietly as possible in his ear
He mouthed the words "with who" I just shrugged my shoulders cause I didn't know either.
"Oh Dante hi"
My mom came out all dressed up.
"Hola Stephanie"
"The guests should be here pretty soon", "but if you guys want to eat right now you can"
"You want to" I asked Dante
"Yeah I'm pretty hungry" he got up
"Are you coming"
"Nah I'm not that hungry right now but I'll go in a bit"
He nodded as he walked off into the kitchen with my mom
I took out my phone and decided to respond to some comments on my post and tried to avoid Benito at all costs.
