"Everything should be going my way never can be my own world seeing a world that I never seen but dreamed to see. Imagining that it was me for my book. Seeing all the flashing lights and the questions people were throwing out and the compliments. It felt nice it felt so real but I was still sad and I could see in Janet's eyes that this was the last place she wanted to be seen. Sneaking away being in a world that was meant for me and Janet only. Nothing could hurt us but each other and I was okay with that. Every moment I spent with Janet is a moment I realize that it was a reason I saved her and she saved me but I'm getting to ahead of myself it's now the next day and it's the start of my new job and I'm more then excited."
Toni POV
Today is the day I start my new job for Janet to say I was excited is an understatement. I couldn't sleep half the night I was finally getting somewhere in my life and right now I didn't care how it happened. Janet was sleep on my chest still snoring this must have been the first time she slept good in awhile because she hadn't moved in awhile. I was on my phone looking through emails nothing good just people telling me to try again with my book. I don't know where I go wrong maybe when Janet read it she will tell me. Janet started stirring in her sleep meaning she was going to wake up when she started opening her eyes she held me tighter as if I was gonna leave looking straight.
"Good morning Toni." Janet said finally looking at me. I smiled at her hugging her tighter back.
"Good morning Janet, how did you sleep."
"Good thank you for last night but got to get up and get ready." Sadness came to her voice and before she got out the bed I pinned her down and started to tickling her.
"Here on our no more sad days and if it gets to much for you then we can go somewhere else just sneak out and be in our world."
"O-Okay I understand J-Just stop tickling me I can't take it." Janet said smiling this is the first time I saw her smiling in person and it seem so real. I got up off of her and helped her up Janet stared at me for awhile I didn't know what was finna happen. She slapped me on my ass then running locking herself in the bathroom.
"You will have to come out some day and when you do I'm gonna get you." I could hear Janet laughing and so did I going to my drawers finding something to wear.

I went across the hall to the community bathroom and went to brush my teeth and make sure that I look okay enough for this job. When I got back Janet was dressed sitting on my bed.

When Janet saw me she started smiling I guess we had the same idea because it was cold outside I was just about to tell her.
"You look beautiful Toni." Janet said walking up to me handing me an envelope.
"So do you love this sweater look sexy as hell on you." She blushed looking down I chuckled to myself opening the envelope and saw it was a check for 750k I mean I never seen this much money in my life I almost passed out. I put it back in the envelope handing it back to her. She gave me a confused look and I went back to getting my shoes.
"What is it not enough money I can give you more." I shook my head walking over to her. Grabbing her hands making her look at me.
"As nice as that is I don't want your money and plus I didn't do anything to earn it you can keep it I don't want your money that's not why I took this job just to be close to you." Janet had a tears falling and I wiped them hugging her rubbing her back she seems to like that. I pulled away looking into her eyes.
"Time to go." We said at the same time and laughed.
Janet POV
When Toni said that it made me look at her differently she was a real friend and that's what I really needed right now. I liked Toni she was beautiful and smart and I started reading her book in the car it was great so far few boring parts but that's every book. Toni was looking out the window amazed I just laughed letting her have her moment. When we got to the recording studio a bunch of people started asking me questions. Toni grabbed my hand making me feel a little more calm. We sat down and I started writing some more music thinking of something happy for the next album but just can't. Before I could think of anything Adrien walked in that's the ex boyfriend I talked about.
"Hey Janet I missed you think we can talk." I sat there hyperventilating I guess Toni saw because she grabbed my hand walking out of the building walking pass my car and still walking we were walking for a about 30 minutes until we made it to some trail. We walked it for a while until we hit some water.

Toni pulled me on the grass and we sat there looking at the water.
"Are you okay I could see that was a lot."
"Yeah just bad memories that's why I give people the money they want he was one reason when I gave you the money I knew that's what you needed I'm sorry if I offended you." Toni scooted closer to me wrapping her arms around me.
"You didn't offended me I just wanted you to know that I not helping or being friends with you. I like Janet not Janet Jackson okay." I smiled and started leaning in and so did Toni we kissed for about five seconds then quickly pulled away.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that." I started panicking because I let my emotions get ahead of me. Toni laughed a little and pulled me closer almost on her lap.
"Don't worry about it I loved it maybe we can do it more often." I blushed looking in her eyes she kissed my forehead smiling looking forward and I did the same thing. Start of something new.
