"AAAAHHHH!" Ayako jumped up when she noticed her brother on the couch watching television.

"Where have you been missy?" Kayake said, smirking. Ayako tried every excuse in the book, but Kayake knew what went on during the time she was gone. "You were with a guy right? Give me all the details. I promise I won't tell."

"Fine..." Ayako said as she sat down next to him. "I was out with my new friend. His name is Kirishima. He's really sweet and such a gentleman. We went to the cafe and he walked me home. I had a great time!" Ayako said as she slowly slunk down off the couch. She never realized how good it felt to gush out your feelings to the people around you. Then, she remembered her brother's capabilities. "Don't you dare tell mom about this! She will murder me and Kiri! Please!" she said as she snapped her head to face her brother's direction.

"I won't! I won't." he said with a smirk. "I'm tired. I'm gonna go to bed. You can stay up, but not past 10:00. I love you." Kayake said as he kissed his little sister on the forehead and went upstairs and shut the door. Ayako had the urge to follow him, but decided not to and went up to her room instead. She opened her phone and texted Kirishima.

Ayako: Hey Kiri! Are you awake?

Kiri: Yea! I'm awake. You ok?

Ayako: Ofc! Why wouldn't I be?

Kiri: Idk. Anyway, wyd?

Ayako: I'm lying on my bed.
Wyd?

Kiri: Same here. It's getting late. I'd probably get
some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow maybe?

Ayako: I might be able to work
something out. Cya tomorrow! Hopefully!

With that, Ayako checked one last thing and turned off your phone. She hoped her mother didn't have anything planned for tomorrow. She turned off her lamp and drifted off to sleep dreaming about her new best friend.
