Chapter 5 | Justine

By 6 pm, i was almost ready for Emoni's get together/party. I walked over to the living room & found my little sister playing with Selangie.

" Selie, are you ready? She wants up to be early." -Justine said smiling as she seen her 2year old sister interact with Sel.

"Yeah sure." - Sel said looking at Justine then directing her attention back to the toddler, " She's so adorable, I just want to eat her up!"

"Oh gosh, you can take her bad self with you anytime." - Justine said giggling while grabbing her things. "Okay, so get your things we are heading out."

She grabbed the toddler, Mia & picked up her babybags. She needed to to take her to Aunts Wanda's house before it gets too late .Sel grabbed her clutch and started to head out the door.

As we walked into Emoni's condo, "All Day" by Kanye blasted in our ears. We started to see familiar faces from school on her deck & they invaded her living room. "Damn" i thought.

"Wow, her place is nice. There's so many people!" -Sel said looking around the condo.

"Yeah, stay here & I'll get us drinks." - Justine went straight to the kitchen & saw Jalissa hugged up with Ali. "Aww, look at the cuffers. You guys are so cute!" She said excitedly.

Ali smiled lightly & Jalissa said, "Thank you boo. Did Selangie come?" She tried looking at the crowded living room to find her.

"Yeah she's over there. & where Queen E?" - Justine said with her hands on her hips. Jalissa, Ali & Justine laughed in unison.

" She's right behind you." -Jalissa said while looking at Ali, who wasnt paying her no attention.

I turned around & there she was. She looked so beautiful, with her long black hair hanging down her shoulders. Her black tube dress from Sorella fit her petite body just right. Her Giuseppe Zanotti nude sandals that had to be about 1grand alone, were flawless. I wasn't as upscale as Jalissa & Emoni, but I knew how to dress with a budget. I had my olive green bomber jacket & white bralette with black leather pants which i got from Zara. Since I was working at ALDO & had my DKNY internship, I bought all my clothes myself. Wearing my first pair of black matte Christian Loubition on my feet to compliment my outfit.

"You look nice." I finally said. "& so much people came out tonight. Whats the celebration?" I looked at her confused to why she had a party in her condo. She hated guests and even hated the girls in our school.

"This is my way of celebrating the end of Spring break. Since I didn't get to go to Turks & Caicos, i decided wanted to do some thing different." -Emoni said while smirking. She was very devious & sneaky. but since we've known each other practically our whole lives, she wouldn't pull tricks up on me..... i think.

"That's nice of you, I didn't know you were the type to give back to the community." I smiled & grabbed the drinks I made for Sel & me.

For the rest of the night we all partied, danced & smoked. Emoni was running around making sure nothing was broken while me and Sel just sat back laughing. We were both high & it wasn't something new. When I looked at my phone it was 11:34 & it felt like 3am. As soon as I looked up, some cute boy swift past us. He was light skin & had the perfect jawline. I tapped Sel & looked at his direction.

"Who is that? Damn he is fine!" - I squealed looking at him with eyes fill of lust. She started to laugh,

"That's Dallas, the senior in our school. He recently transferred from Boys & Girls.bWe used to talk before he came to our school, nothing serious though. But I mean he is cute." -Selangie said reminiscing about their online relationship. Sel & Dallas met on Instagram and been texting non- stop ever since. But he recently started posting pictures with other females & she got turned off.

"Deadass? Go talk to him!!" - I said with excitement. He was too cute not to talk to him. He resembled Chad Vuitton a lot & had almost every feature as him except he had hazel eyes.

"Nah, he's a male thot. Which is why we don't talk right now." -Sel said looking away from him. I can tell she had a lowkey crush on him but she tried her best to cover her feelings.

As I got up to refill my drink, I saw Emoni approaching him with anger in her eyes. "I wondered what's that's all about." I thought to myself. I grabbed the bottle of Ciroc Pineapple from the counter & began to pour it in my drink. when I turned to my left, I can see Jalissa in the corner of my eyes crying. When I looked around, Ali was nowhere to be spotted. I sped walked toward her & knelt down.

"Jay, what wrong? Why are you crying?" - I said sounding concerned.

"It's nothing, Ali had to leave. That's all." She said while pouting.

"Are you sure? If there's anything else, you can tell me." I said knowing that she may be lying. "& girl, yall always together!"

"I know, that why this is so silly of me to be crying. But I love every second being with him so miss him already."- Jalissa said whining.

I gave her a drunk bear hug & kissed her cheek. "Your so silly. Me & Sel are going to start heading out. I'll see you school on Monday." I waved her off & started to head back in Sel direction.

She was talking to someone who came with Dallas. He was darkskin with muscles to compliment his body frame. He didn't look like a muscle head, but he wasn't my type. I looked closer to his face, yeah he was cute but not Dallas cute. I could see Sel playfully hitting him & he loved that shit. Okay it's time to go, I thought to myself.

"Selie are you ready to go?" I said purposely sounding annoyed.I grabbed my clutch & phone off the couch we were sitting on before taking my last sip in my drink.

"Yeah, sure. But this is my bae Tyriq & Tyriq this is Justine."
