[One of those days in which we were in pursuit of the place where we belong.. ]

Adam pulled up in front of the trashy hotel, the true was, it didn't matter too much its quality, while it'd allow us to rest for the trip.

"Stay inside, I'll go check" he said before leaving the car heading to the reception.

"Ok" I just agreed cause I knew him enough to know this time, he preferred to go alone.

He had driven for hours and fatigue was beginning to reflect into his eyes, of an Arctic ice blue, but they still remained the most beautiful I've ever looked at.

Glancing through the cristal, I saw that night was a special one, the color of the sky was the darkest black, allowing the stars to shine even more brightly.

A slight noise on the window distracted me from my thoughts. I turned to see who it was, and I faced Adam, seeming a little bit disappointed. He asked me to shut down the safe to let him come inside on the driver side.

"Bad news, doll" he said, looking me directly. Any other would try to look away, but he never does.

"We can spend the night here, you know?" I suggested as I approached him and kissed his cheek, "Don't worry, we'll be fine" I whispered on his ear.

"I know. It would be better if you bring Tony here to the front" he pointed to the back seat with a nod.

"You're right. Give a minute, honey" I accepted and exited the car.

On the back seat there was a beautiful child, lying, he had got light brown hair and freckled skin, inherited from his father. His third birthday was close.

"Keep asleep, treasure. Everything's okay" I spoke softly in case he could awake because of my movements, trying to unbuckle his seat.

"Let me help you" Adam offered. He reclined the seat and gently laid the boy as carefully as he could.

"I see he has stole your place" Adam smirked playfully.

"Are you sure? I'm watching it, right now" I smiled, pointing to where he was.

Before I knew it, I went out and Adam was waiting for me with the door open. I got in. I sat on his lap, letting my legs to the side.

"We should sleep now. You are exhausted, for sure" I said, stroking slowly his chest with my hand.

"What can I say? You know me better than I know myself" he put his arms around me, "Let's rest, my girl. Sweet dreams."

"Sweet dream to you too, Adam. I love you" I said before closing my eyes.

[And just cuddled, with my head leaning on his shoulder, I fell asleep, dreaming that tomorrow we would finally find our home..]
