Three

[The lights were in place. The instruments connected and ready for some music. People began to take their seat, screaming out for their idol .. ]

At the backstage, a blond man walked along by a crowded hallway. He stopped in front of the dressing room marked with a star, which read "Adam Lambert"

He slowly opened the door, he took one look and he immediately loved what he saw. Inside was his love, quite entertaining making funny faces while he was judging his appearance in the mirror.

"Without doubt, he owns my heart" he thought to himself.

He closed the room and he approached behind his attractive boyfriend, making the less possible noise.

"Uhhmmm that delicious scent .. Could it be that Sauli decided to visit me?" Adam let out, taking by surprise to the intruder.

"Hey! I wanted to surprise you!" Sauli said with a laugh "Next time I'd remember not to use up the whole bottle of the perfume on myself"

"You smell perfectly and yes, I'm surprised .. What are you doing here?" Adam asked, turning to face the man he loved.

"If we go to the couch maybe I can show you why I came" he took him by the hand, leading him to the sofa on the corner of the luxurious dressing room.

"What do you mean?" Adam questioned resisting himself a little, knowing the direction where the situation was going.

"I know you are not one of those who get nervous before a show, although I can make you feel so more relaxed" Sauli replied, leaning Adam over the couch and climbing on him.

"I wish you would" Adam whispered as he kissed Sauli's neck "But I gotta get on the stage in a few minutes, I just choosed my clothes and I still have to do my makeup. You know how long it take me that step"

"I could help you" Sauli suggested waiting for Adam's reaction, who looked at him curiously "I've been practicing, you'd be really surprised if you knew what I'm capable of now"

"No offense hun, but we both agree that at least on that, I'm the winner" Adam assumed an air of superiority.

"No, no. Things have changed, Why don't you let me try?" Sauli insisted as he got up from Adam's lap and helped him to stand.

"Go ahead, baby" Adam concluded with a wink.

"Well, sit down in front of the boudoir, while I get together your huge collection of cosmetics" Sauli ordered, rummaging through the drawers.

"Uhmm let's see, I don't understand why do you use this if you are still handsome without any makeup" Sauli confessed trying to select the correct color tone of eye shadow.

"Thank you, my love. I can only say, it gives a lot of confidence and also I'd disappoint my Glamberts if I decide to go to perform without glitter on my face" Adam ansewered with a little smile.

"All rigth, I understand. Now close your beatiful eyes" Adam obeyed and he felt the way Sauli started to apply a thick layer of makeup on his face with a soft sponge "I don't want you to open them until I finish"

"Okay" Adam accepted. He had had many people in charge of the handiwork, but a pleasant sensation filled him at the idea that this time his beloved was the one doing it.

It had to be a glam look, so Sauli pick out a brigth silver eye shadow, coloring lovingly the eyelids, followed by a smoky green-blue to frame the eyes.

Carefully he curled just a bit that large eye lashes, then he painted them with the mask and used the eye liner to stand out the edges.

"Hey! No peeking!" Sauli claimed when he noticed Adam trying to see how his makeup was going.

"Haha ok ok! it's just that I can't wait anymore. Don't be angry, I will behave" Adam stated, giving up.

It was turn for the famous "Glitter." Sauli took the applicator and focused on the area around the eyes, spreading a little here and there, and finally decorating with a few rhinestones. Now it only remained, the delicious mouth which he was so much in love with.

"What was the reason for that?" Adam wondered at the sudden sensation of lips capturing his.

"The final detail. You can look now, babe, I've finished" Sauli announced, taking some steps away to admire the complete look.

Adam opened his eyes and he stood totally amazed. The whole makeup seems done by a professional.

"I can't believe it! You seriously shined, honey!" Adam congratulated him unable to look away from his reflection.

"I told you so. I'm happy you liked" Sauli smiled while Adam's words took him to heaven.

"After this, I should hire you cause I'll be too jealous if you share your talent with the rest of the world" Adam replied, getting up from the chair and walking towards Sauli.

"No need" Sauli countered, wrapping Adam's waist "I am only yours, without your inspiration I'd never have succeeded"

"I'm more than glad to hear that" Adam said hugging Sauli "I love you"

"I love you more" Sauli added tenderly.

A knock at the door along with a voice shouting "two minutes" broke the scene ..

"I better stop entertain you, I don't want to see thousands of Glamberts going mad at me" Sauli apologized Adam, separating himself against his body's wishes.

"Haha, maybe you're rigth! Will you be here when I return?" Adam wanted to know while he was turning the knob preparing to leave the room.

"Of course" Sauli said "Now, go to live your dream"

"I will" Adam finished blowing him a kiss "I'll be missing you" and finally stepped into the hallway.

[That night stayed in the memory of many. Adam led the concert with an energy never seen before. The band gave him flattered comments about his makeup and he just yearned the moment to return with the artist responsable of it .. ]
