Y/N's Return

Meanwhile in the LAPD

Dan walked towards Chloe told her that a new detective has been transferred and that he is said to be one of the best detectives that the SFPD has had, Chloe asked him who the detective was to which Dan said Detective Y/N L/N, which after Chloe became still. Dan saw her expression and asked her if she knew the detective to which she replied that the name feels a bit familiar, their conversation was interrupted when officer Cacuzza who came in running and panting saying that the new detective has arrived. 

Dan's POV

I and the other detectives and officers gathered down the hallway and welcomed detective L/N, he then thanked us all and asked if anyone could show him the way to the lieutenant's office after hearing which I stepped forward before anyone else could, he then walked towards me, looked me in my eyes and said "Hello Daniel," which a bit creeped me out, which I ignored and showed him the way to the lieutenant's office.

Y/N's POV

After speaking with the lieutenant, I started walking around the place and accidentally bumped into a woman with blonde hair who was carrying some files with her, I immediately apologized to her but when I bent down to help her with the files and looked her in the eyes the only word that came out of my mouth was Chloe which after hearing she looked at me, and recognized me. I gave her a hug and kissed her, but she broke the kiss and started crying and hitting me this made me feel a bit embarrassed as everyone there including Dan started looking at us both.

After all my work was done I decided to drive to Chloe's place, but when I got to her place and knocked on the door to my surprise the door was opened by a child, she looked up to me and asked me who I was so I bent down to her level and said that I'm Y/N L/N and asked who she was, she said that she's Trixie, Chloe's daughter, hearing this shocked me a bit. I told her that her mom is my best friend and I'm here to meet her so she called out for Chloe, but when Chloe came to see who had come, but when I heard a male voice I walked in to see who her husband was and to my surprise it turned out to be Daniel who saw me and asked me why I was here, I said "Daniel I'm here to apologize to Chloe for leaving her," after hearing this Chloe was in tears and hugged me tight I returned her the hug, Trixie who was watching this started giggling, when Chloe realized that she was being watched by Trixie and Daniel, I then asked Daniel about what they were talking he felt a bit told me that he and Chloe had separated, this made me enraged as I didn't want Chloe to be left alone again, so I shouted at him. 

Chloe's POV

"Maybe Y/N still cares for me," I said to myself, "Calm down Y/N, I'm not gonna be alone besides I have my best friend with me." she said smiling at me, Trixie came near me and asked me if Y/N was really my best friend to which I replied yes.

Trixie's POV

"I wanted to ask you something," I said to Y/N nervously, he looked me in my eyes and bent down to my level and said "Anything darling." so I asked him "could you be my friend too?", "Of course darling." he smiled at me. He asked me if I wanted anything, so I looked at mom so he jokingly said "Don't you think you're old for taking permissions from mommy kiddo?", so I told him that I wanted chocolate cakes. "Done deal." he said shaking hands with me. 

Chloe's POV

"Why did you promise that to her?" I asked him, "Oh I'm so sorry Chloe, but you see the Devil never breaks his deals." he replied to me jokingly. "Well I better get going," he said, as he stepped near the door to open it he was stopped by Trixie , who hugged him and pleaded him to stay for the night, so he replied to her "Well kiddo I'll meet you tomorrow with your cake, I promise." she smiled and told him that it was nice meeting him. Before he left I told him that she likes him, he smiled at me and gave me a hug and left.

Chloe's POV

"Well I've never seen Trixie grow so friendly with anyone within less time," Dan said and left. Well Y/N's grown into a very handsome and convincing man.Anyway I'll be meeting him and Dan tomorrow at the department.
