Isabel couldn't believe that this man could frustrate her so much with his antics. She wanted to return home. But the question she faced was, where was home? Her brother and sister were studying at the university and living in a frat house nearby. She was their legal guardian. She earned well enough, but most of her earnings went toward tuition and repaying her student loans.

Isabel and her siblings used to live in their aunt's house after their parents died in a car accident. But after catching her boyfriend Jeremiah in bed with her cousin Christina, she felt betrayed and broken. Three years of relationship went down the drain for ten minutes of sexual gratification. She wondered if it was her clothes or if she was too chubby for Jeremiah?

A screeching sound drew her attention back to her current surroundings. Her body sprung forward due to the impact from behind. She saw that a car had collided with their car in the back but then she heard the driver say, "It's an ambush, we've been ambushed." The young man in the passenger seat had his guns drawn. She turned her head to Xander, who also had his guns drawn and was pointing toward the window. The car had come to a complete halt.

"Bend down Doctor, and don't come back up until I tell you to, or that pretty little head of yours is going to get splattered into pieces." Xander said while his attention was outside the window.

Isabel clearly wasn't used to following orders, but as soon as she heard the gunshots, she immediately decided it was better to duck down otherwise she might become collateral damage in a war she wasn't even a part of.

Bang-boom-bang surrounded her until the deafening sound of a window shattering came through.

As soon as she looked up, she saw a bullet enter and exit the driver's skull, scattering pieces of his blown brain everywhere. She screamed in horror at the scene and the gunshots.

"Anyone got a shot on these snipers?" Xander spoke into his headset as he reloaded his pistol. "Shoot all except one of them and make sure he stays alive and take him to the 'Hell's Dungeon' where the fun begins." Xander ordered Noah, the man in the passenger seat, to take an aim at the sniper on the roof while giving him cover so he could get out of the car and take a clear range shot at the car that had collided with them.

Isabel saw Xander open the car door, and she grabbed his arm by the shirt and looked at him with pleading eyes, as if asking him not to leave her alone in the car. He just left her standing there after saying, "Stay here, doctor, you'll be safe here," and closed the car door behind him.But this time Isabel didn't feel safe, alone in the car with the driver's body.

The more time passed and the more shots were fired, the more she felt sick. She reached for the door handle, sat up carefully, and looked outside the window. She saw a building entrance and behind them she saw that the car that had hit them from behind had men aiming at Xander. She decided to spring towards the direction of the building entrance. Opening the car door she sprung into a run.
