Jimin: If I were to summarize, August 31 was the day I felt that Jin-hyung was really our older brother.
Yoongi: I've always felt that.
Jimin: Yeah. You guys were the closest.

Jimin: Haha I know. But we've always portrayed— and actually a lot of people has actually portrayed Jin-hyung as childish and the youngest of the group. Like, you have to take care of him.

Jimin: Yeah. We all felt he was our older brother. Those are rare moments but very precious. So, back on August 30–
JIMIN NARRATIVE
We were all busy because of the upcoming online concert on September. We've been practicing since July and up to this point, everyone was exhausted.
Sometimes, people raise their voices. Eyes rolled. A lot of sighs. A lot of panting.
And during practices, one of the people who have it hard was Jungkook. He was a perfectionist and wanted everything to be perfect even on practices. He would beat himself up everyday to get it very well done. At this point, Jungkook is no longer speaking because he was frustrated on his parts. We tried to joke around him but he just chuckle.
Part of what makes him tired is also the solo album he was releasing on the concert itself. He's singing 2-3 of his compositions there. And he's not yet done producing it.

Yoongi: Yeah. I was volunteering to help but he just doesn't want to accept it.
Jimin: Yeah, he's like that. He wants to do his best in everything but alone.
Yoongi: You can see it on his bedroom. He has a lot of things in there.
Jimin: Hahahah! Right, right. He has a fridge, a dining table. His own stock cabinet.
Yoongi: I think it was the age difference, but JK prefers to be independent most of the time. Even in work.
Jimin: I think that was caused his burnout.
JIMIN NARRATIVE
At night, we were having our meeting which Namjoon-hyung was heading. We were going through the performances, the line up, what can be improved. Then we got to Jungkook's solo album part. JK's head was down at the table by this time. He was really exhausted.
Namjoon: JK, do you have any updates on when we're going to finalize this?
There was no answer. We were all looking at him. I can see his ears turn red.
V: Maybe we should let Jungkook rest for now. You've been exhausted for many weeks now.
Namjoon: All I want is update. Just tell us when you can finish.
V: But he's tired.
Hope: Would you like some help—
JK: I told you guys I don't need help!!
He suddenly stood up. We were all looking at him. I can see his tears on the side of his eyes.
Namjoon: JK, this is important. So if you need any assistance—
JK: I don't need it!
Namjoon: You don't understand. The concert is coming soon and you're the only part left undone.
JK: I can do it, okay! I don't need your help!
Namjoon: Stop being childish. This is not about you,
By this time, everyone was standing up. Hope is holding Namjoon. V is holding JK. Me, Suga-hyung, and Jin-hyung were on the side.
Jin: Calm down, guys. We're all tired. Let's just—
JK: I'm not tired. I'm not weak like you!
Suga: Hey, JK! Don't answer like that to Jin.
JK looked up to Jin and he was tearing up. Then he left the room. It was already 1am of August 31 by that time.
The next morning on the roll call, JK wasn't around.
