Naira was fixing kartik's tie on his neck

"Aaj sham ko jaldi aoge na" naira asked

"Hmm pakka" Kartik replied with a smile

"Agar tum nhi aye then main vi brat nhi todunga " naira said

"Aunga re baba pakka time se pehle hi ajaunga" Kartik replied and kissed her forehead

Naira hugged him , she was feeling so low now a days , she herself didn't understand what is happening

"Kya hua bhook lag gayi kya" Kartik asked playfully

Naira glared at him
"Tum bhi na" naira said

"Acha acha I'm sorry now can I go madam ??" Kartik said

"Hmm jaldi ana okay" naira said again

Kartik smilingly nodded Then left for his office

."Why I'm feeling so different now a days , jaise ki kuch hone wala hai" naira said to herself placing her Palms on her heart

"May I come in Cindrella " veer knock on the door
..

"Ha veer ao na" naira passed a smile

Veer was continuously opened and closed his mouth like a fish

"Kya hua veer feel free and tell me Kya bolne aye ho" naira said

"Ha sach mein kuch kehna hai tumhe " veer said finally

Veer hold her hand and make her sit on the couch then himself sat beside her

"Veer we're best friends na so tell me without any hichkichahat " naira try to make ease

"I want to tell you something really important naira ,do listen carefully " naira was surprised to see veer's serious looking face

"Kya hua hai veer"

"Naira I don't know Kartik ne tumhe kya bataya hai uske past ke bareme ,kitna bataya hai , per main jo kehna chahta hu vo yeh hai ki please Nandini se sambhal ke rehna " veer said

"Nandini,  kya hua hai ?" Naira

"She was behind kartik's heart break , she was behind everything naira , usne hum dono ke bich duriya laya tha , kartik ko  hum sabke bareme galat kaha tha , kartik ko hum sabse dur kar diya tha "

"Kartik always use apne best friend mana hai per she takes everything in wrong way , kartik ne kabhi Nandini se us tarike se pyar nhi kiya , jaisa vo samjhti hai , phir vi use itni badi galat fehmi kyun hai I don't know , and now her motive is to remove you from his life" veer said while tears formed from naira's eyes

Veer looked at her and found she was crying

"Cindrella Cindrella come down , aise please mat roya karo , you've to be strong Cindrella, for kartik's sake ,tum dono apne rishte ko itna mazbot bana na taki Nandini jaisa hazaro aye per tum dono ko alag na kar sake" veer hold naira's palm

Then something stuck on naira's mind
"Konsa rishta veer , I think Nandini hi kartik ke future ho sakta hai,  because hum dono ka rishta sirf aur kuch mahino ka hai , I don't know tumhe pta hai ya nhi ki , kartik and I signed for a contract of our marriage,  ek saal ka contract hai , aur is rishte mein bas aur kuch mahina hi baki hai veer " naira said and rushed to washroom

"Cindrella Cindrella suno to" veer said but naira already entered inside

"Shit yeh kartik vi na , yeh sab contract ki kya zarurat thi , ufffff" veer clutched his hairs

Naira leaned her back on the door and slipped down to the floor

Main kaise vul gayi thi ,we're in contract,  kyun pas jati hu main kartik ki jabki mujhe pta hai bas 7 mahine bad hum alag hone wale hai , kaise bit gaya itni jaldi jaldi 5 mahina pta nhi , tum boht ache ho kartik , but sayad hum dono sath mein rahe yeh sahi nhi hai , aur sabse badi bat tumhi ne yeh contract rakha tha hum dono ke bich , then kyun tum mere itne karib aye kartik ? Kyun ???
Atfirst ankit broke me , and now you're going to leave me,  kyun bhagban ji kyun ?
No I've to be strong,  bas 7 mahina hi to hai na dekhte dekhte hi nikal jayega , per mujhe tumse dur dur rehna chahiye , it's better for us , hum dono se kuch boht badi galti ho jae it's better hum dur rahe ek dusre se , I'll try my best to keep distance between us

Naira wiped her tears ......

at evening Kartik came back from his work
But didn't found naira in the room

."ab madam kaha chali gayi" Kartik said to himself after checking the balcony then entered inside the washroom

When he came out from washroom he found naira was getting ready
Keerti was doing her make up

"See mr kartik , apke biwi ko kaisa lag raha hai" keerti asked when she saw through the mirror , kartik was staring naira

"Beautiful " Kartik said

Naira was wearing a green blue lehenga with a heavy choker and the matching earrings but the mangalsutra and the necklace along with her red chura were content , a beautiful mangtika was placed between her hair particles above the vermillion and a veil occupied a little to her hair bun
Her lips shining with red lipstick and eyes covered with khol but the smile and spark on her face was missing

"Ya ya I know she is beautiful " keerti said while naira forced a smile

"You know madam aj ready hi nhi hona cha rahi thi , keh rahi thi bas aise hi chali jayegi karwachot celebrate karne , uske bad maa ne mujhse kaha ache se use taiyar karne ko" keerti said

"Acha kiya hai apne bhabi" Kartik answered

"Okay ab main chalti hu " keerti said and left after closing the door behind her

Kartik came near her and placed his chin from behind on her shoulder
They're looking theirselves through the mirror

"Kyun taiyar nhi hona cha rahe the hu" Kartik asked

"Kuch nhi bas aise hi" naira removed his hands from her and got up from the stool

"Kya hua hai naira  , tum ro rahe the kya? Ankhe sujhi hui lag rahi hai" Kartik asked

"Nhi aisa kuch nhi hai vo bahar decoration dekhne gayi thi to kych chala gaya tha ankho mein" naira lied while not meeting his eyes

"Ab tum ready hoke ajao niche" She said and left without listening kartik's any word

"Ajib bat hai ab kya ho gaya ise ??" Kartik said to himself

"Yaha main madam ke liye surprise taiyar kar raha hu taki use thodi si khusi mile aur yeh mujhse dur dur bhag rahi hai" Kartik said while buttoning his traditional kurta

Later kartik came downstairs while everyone present

The ladies were preparing their Aarti thali while naira was absent minded

Keerti noticed it and asked her but she make a perfect lie
..............

The lights get suddenly off
"Yeh light kaise chala gaya " Manish said

"Power cut ho gaya sayad dad" karan said

"Aman please check karo" mansih shouted

While the lights turned on suddenly and everyone looked at the door step
