"What in the world is this drama?" Rosé still extremely amused upon knowing that Lisa's high school bully, Jennie Kim, is also her college classmate and at the same time her half-brother's girlfriend.

"Argh!! Chaenggg! Why am I so unlucky? I always prayed to never encounter with that brat but it seems like fate is toying with me, giving me the exact opposite of what I asked for," Lisa threw her back on Park Chaeyoung's bed, extended her arms, and heave a sigh.

Park Chaeyoung / Rosé has been Lisa's best friend since High School. She's taking up Civil Engineering in the same university as Lisa.

"It makes me want to shift to another course. Damn! I really hate her, Chaeng," Lisa groaned.

Rosé chuckled. "What? Doing that just because of your high school bully? Are you going to let her get to you? Just keep on ignoring her, she's just jealous of you," She said trying to comfort Lisa.

'Why would she be? She's got everything.' Lisa thought to herself.

"That's the point. She's jealous of me and judging on the first day of class, I think she will never let me live in peace," Lisa groaned at the thought of Jennie bothering her until they will graduate is the most exhausting thing of her life.

She buried her face with her palms and complained.

'Wish I can transfer but I'm a damn scholar.' Lisa thought to herself.

"Then here's my half-brother, asking me and Bright to start living in his house," Lisa said in despair.

Rosé lay on her bed, scooted close to Lisa, and looked at her with concern. "Have you met him? I mean them?"

Lisa shook her head. "Nope. I only saw them in the picture when they were young. The one which mom showed to me before she —," a sigh escaped from her lips and didn't continue what she's about to utter.

"I'm really sorry about what happened to your mom," Rosé grabbed Lisa's hand to comfort her best friend.

Lisa went silent for a while and faked a smile. "Come on! Let's not be emotional about it. I'm slowly moving on," She said, trying not to tear up.

It was a tragic experience for Lisa. Her mom has another family aside from her and her brother, Bright. Her mother left them alone in their small house, letting her take control of everything when she was in High School. She was just young but life is already hard on her but it made her tough, it made her who she is today.

Their mom got no problem in terms of putting her children in school because both are performers in class. The only thing she gave to her children are enough food for them to eat and survive and of course a shelter. But how is it possible for a high schooler taking care of its own? Life could be cruel sometimes and you have to face the reality especially when you are not born with a silver spoon.

Lisa used to complain about everything but looking at her brother with burning passion in his eyes to achieve his dreams and goals someday, made her want to be strong for the only family she considers.

Lisa and Bright loathed their dad for abandoning them without a single word. Until now, their dad never came back. Worst thing is when they find out that their mom had an affair, thinking that maybe their dad left because of their mother's adultery.

Not concluding the reason why, they are still mad at their parents for leaving them as if they were nothing but dust in this world. Wishing they weren't born.

Both haven't met the other family of their mom yet because of anger but the death of their birth giver due to breast cancer, soften their resentful hearts.
