3. Why should I call this my home

Finland 1914, St. Michel 

I am twelve years old and I do live now at st. Michel. We do live at the little country side house. My stepmother Miina is not nice for me. She married my father couple years ago. She wants me to call her my mother. Ugh I just hate her so so so much!!!! At once I did live at the princess castle. Don't call me crazy I know I did!! 

Seven years ago we moved to this house. I do hate this country side life... Life as twelve year old girl is not easy, because couple weeks ago I did get my first periods. And Miina is not helping me she just say that I need to learn how to manage by myself. So I mean it when I do say that living with Finland is fucking difficult. Yes at here people do swear so badly... also Miina and my father. Also dad is drinks whole time... Oh don't forget that war is going on?!!! 

The only thing is My neighbor Augustus. He makes living there a little more tolerable. When I came tho Finland I only was able to speak English, but at this house speaking with English is highly banned. I can only use Finnish when I do speak. Augustus has helped me how to learn speak Finnish. So now I can speak that language pretty well. By the way he is originally from Sweden so he is able to speak Swedish too. 

Well usually we do speak from our previous home countries. But the favorite thing of me is when we on daily do read the magazines and tabloids. When I cant understand something from it he does say that word in English then. Dad says that it is not suitable for twelve year old to read daily tabloids, but we don't care...

Actually the war has not going on at Finland yet, but we have prepared for it. Example the coffee, cigarettes and tea are banned at the grocery shop. My dad is angry eith the cigarette thing, because he does smoke many times during day and now they are not selling those so... I do hate the smoke and everytime when someone does smoke near by me I get that weird feeling that I am not able to breathe. So of course Miina smokes then near by me. She is so fucking mean.
