It has been about 3 years now, you know since I asked y/n to be my novia. I'm now 20 and in 2 days y/n will be 20 too. I've decided that on their birthday I'm gonna ask them to marry me. I know it was planned for us but I still wanna do it properly.
"Mami! MAMI!" I was looking around the house for her. I wanted to ask how papi proposed to her. "Yeah mi papito?" She said coming out of the kitchen, drying her hands. I guessed that she was washing dishes from dinner. "I wanna know how papi proposed to you." She smiled at me and ushered me into her room.
"It was very romantic mi papito, he took me to my favourite place in the village and then he popped the question." She smiled again "sooo~ are you gonna ask y/n?" I blushed hardly "yes mami, but promise me you won't say anything. I want it to be a surprise. I told her about a month ago that I wasn't ready for marriage and that you and papi had dated for 6 years before he asked you to marry him." My mami looked at me like she wanted to strike me with a thunder bolt. She knew that toying with their feelings was wrong but she promised not to tell them.
"Dolores I know your listening so you better not tell them either." I heard a squeak and I knew Dolores wouldn't say anything. I thanked my mami for telling me and ran towards the front doors of the casita.
"Guapo? Where are you of to in such a hurry?" I turned around to see mi amor standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Mi amor, I was on my way to collect your favourite cake for your birthday celebration tomorrow!" They walked over and wrapped their arms around my neck. "But my birthday isn't for another 2 days?" They said looking incredibly confused. "Sorry mi amor but everyone is busy with work and chores on your birthday so we wanted to do it a day early so you can still have a great birthday." They looked happy and upset at the same time. "Well, at least your celebrating it." They gave me a kiss. I kissed back. They then walked away to the kitchen waving me goodbye.
I ran off to the town and straight to the jewellers. "Ah, If it isn't Camilo Madrigal. What brings you here? Getting a gift for your novias birthday?" I nodded. "Show me your finest ring." He looked at me very confused but pulled out his finest matching ring set.

I was shocked at how beautiful they were for such a cheap price. "I'll take them." I payed for the rings and shape shifted into Isabela. I knew she was going to be out all day so if I went back to the casita as her then no one would suspect a thing.
I walked into my room very carefully to see y/n asleep on the bed. I hid the rings in a secret compartment that y/n didn't know about. I then used a vine to get out the window. I ran back to the town, collected a cake for y/n and walked back to the casita.
"I'm home!!!" I yelled walking through the door. "GUAPO!" Y/n ran down the stairs and stared at the cake. "Tomorrow,mi amor." They posted at me and I kissed them. I walked into the kitchen with y/n following. "Tia Juileta, please look after this, I don't want y/n to eat it before tomorrow." Tia Juileta turned around and nodded. I then picked up y/n bridle style and carried them out to the pool.
"Camilo. I swear to god, if you drop me in this pool!" I jumped in with y/n still in my arms. I came back up laughing while y/n continued to hit me. "CAMILO (MIDDLE NAME X3) MADRIGAL!!" They looked so cute when they were angry. "I'm sorry, mi amor. The temptation was too much to handle." They swam over and wrapped their arms around my neck. "Your lucky that I love you." They said giving me a kiss. I kissed them back placing one of my hands on their waist. "I love you too, mi amor"
