Yet Nico couldn't stop smiling, Jason must have seen them as he sat next Nico grinning from ear to ear. "So... a date huh? With none other than your love Mr Valdez"
Nico didn't blush, he knew how much he craved Leo. He left Will even though he liked Will a lot because his heart belonged to the Latino elf.
"He is just broken up over Calypso. I'm being his friend Jason" Grace wasn't having any of his facade.
"Di Angelo I'll say nothing but Percy said just before I invaded and I quote 'wow I haven't seen Leo smile like that since he came back from the dead' ironic right?"
Nico shrugged casually yet inside he was erupting with happiness.
I make Valdez smile? I make him happy? He thought.
"Yeah you do" dam it. He had just done a Leo and said it aloud.
"So what you going to wear something nice or do I have to send over Piper?" "NO!"
Nico cried, he then cough hiding his loud outburst "No thank you, not after last time."
Jason laughed and nodded.
"Look Grace it's probably nothing you'll see" Nico said although not truly believing it.
Jason shook his head and grasped Nicos shoulder "I don't know Nico, but regardless try and have fun" Nico nodded and stood walking towards the lake. He decided to be earlier than usual.
