"Festus!" Nico cried, as the bronze Dragon clicked and rested his head close to Leo and Nico.

"Hey boy" Nico whispered gently as his shaking pale hand touched the celestial bronze. Leo smiled listening to Festus's Morse code hum.
"He said he likes you" Nico grinned, "Back off Festus he's mine" Leo laughed, Nico blushed madly.

Calm down Nico, he was only joking.
Or was he?

"So are you ready?" Leo ventured climbing upon Festus's back.
"Wait... what?!" Nico exclaimed, "This is the surprise, flying on Festus".
Nico wanted to climb on vibrantly yet his nerves held him back. Leo reached down his hand and smiled, "Do you trust me?" Nico looked into Leo's dark eyes that flickered with fire, "What?" Leo reached further "Do you trust me?" Nico thought hard and whispered "Yes" reaching out for Leo's hand, they fully touched and Leo pulled Nico up with ease. Nico sat behind Leo and looked for something to hold on too. There was nothing.

"Take my waist" Leo chuckled, Nico obliged, however when Nico touched Leo's skin he felt heat radiate off him and slightly moaned at the intense tingling that erupted over his body.
Then the Dragon took off, soaring off into the island's dark yet crisp night.
Nico snuggled closer to Leo, leaning his head on his back.

"Everything alright back there?" Leo chuckled, "Perfect" Nico whispered...

Nico realised nothing ... not anything could ruin this. Nothing...
