james sat on the plane next to jake, it had just taken off en route to london, england.

she pulled her airpods out of her bag before connecting them to her phone, passing one to jake out of habit which he instantly took and put into his ear.

they silently listened to james' playlist, one the two had spent some time constructing, filled with their favourite songs.

the girl rested her head on jakes shoulder, scrolling through her camera roll to clear some unnecessary pictures, jake watching and pointing out any that she missed.

'hey, that's good you should post that.' he pointed out a picture of gus that james had completely forgotten about, the vietnamese girl smiling down at the photograph.

'i think i will, thanks jakey.'

james had gotten slightly better at dealing with gus' death, but her eyes still welled with tears when she looked at all the comments, letting out a chuckle at some of them.

jake pulled her into a little side hug, rubbing her arm.

'you also haven't posted on your other account for a while, would that be a good distraction?'

'definitely'

the two then had a photoshoot on the plane, not ending up with a single good photo, trying not to draw attention to themselves which only made them laugh harder.

james smiled, resting back into jake's side, listening to colby, corey and sam talk about something or another in the seats around them.

man was she lucky to have friends like them.

hi all!!
this is the start of part 2, so the london series and most likely cerro gordo and the trap house!
im sorry for being gone for so long, i have recently suffered a loss in the family and it's been quite difficult to get past, however i'll be trying to post consistently again.
