the group arrived in london later that day. they had a hard time finding the car, making fun of sam as he pulled out of the spot, the blonde not used to the opposite side of the road.eventually, the group of 5 got in the car, james sat between jake and corey in the back.
'alright guys, so this is what we're doing! we're going to the lamgham hotel which is known as the most haunted hotel in the uk.'
james nodded along as corey spoke, jake smiling slightly at her habit of moving to concentrate.
'and also, top ten in the whole world.'
'wait- are we gonna be going there or staying there?'
'staying there.'
the three in the back discussed the plan, slight nerves building at the idea of investigating another hotel, especially sleeping there.
'in our last series, the origin, we met with this guy, he's like a demonologist, he says we're like a lot better at it than normal, and he thinks we have a gift, so, this whole trip is trying to prove that our group are the best ghost hunters on youtube. and because of that, we are meeting with two paranormal experts who have been studying the paranormal and demonology for years- we're doing an interview here in an hour.'
they discussed the interview further, before settling down for the remainder of the journey, james stealing the aux to play her playlist as they all danced along in the car.
they nearly encountered death many times on the journey, the group letting out yelps whenever sam swerved the car the wrong way.
they finally arrived at the langham, james stepping out of the vehicle and straightening her shirt.

their bags were left out front with the staff, leaving them with only the camera, their phones and whatever other handheld things they had kept on them.
they conversed with the doorman on the way in, before going to the front desk, the group leaning against the cool marble leisurely.
'so, we have a reservation under golbach.'
'we put in a request, we don't know if it was able to be fulfilled, but we're trying to do, uh room 333?'
'absolutely- you've been allocated that room.'
'oh really? okay, sweet they said we didn't so that's perfect.'
the man took sams card to continue the check in progress, the blonde nodding at james to start questioning the man.
'so we read online that room 333 was like haunted or something like that?'
the clerk side eyed her, smiling slightly.
'is this why you have the uh, camera?'
james laughed, nodding 'yeah, we were wondering if you knew anything in particular?'
'there is the legend, yes. but, we can't tell guests.'
'do you believe in it personally?'
'no, in the one year that i've been here i haven't had any complaints, or anything like that.'
the group nodded, thanking the man as they went to meet with the paranormal experts.
'my names sam, this is colby, jake, james and corey. we're filming for our channel, but these guys are always into it. but we just checked into room 333, and these guys don't even know about why that's so significant but do you know much about room 333 here in the langham hotel?'
'story goes that uh, a victorian doctor spent the night in room 333 with his bride, it was his wedding night, no one knows the circumstances but the story goes he actually murdered his bride in room 333. so, fast forward now, to 1973, and the journalist james alexander gordon was staying in room 333, where he was awoken in the middle of the night, said he saw a fluorescent ball of light, that slowly formed into the figure of a man..'
the investigator, rosie, continued to tell them the history of the langham, specifically room 333, james listening intently.
'i do think if someone is perhaps a bit mentally fragile, getting involved in ghost hunting could be potentially dangerous.'
involuntarily, the boys' eyes darted to james, the girl fidgeting with her hands in her lap.
'especially like ouija boards, people can get drawn into that and scare themselves.'
then, the camera was panned to james and corey, the two looking away from the rest of them awkwardly.
'yeah, we know about that.'
'yeah, i've heard of some horrible things coming through ouija boards that have quite upset people, wether they're true or not, the people involved certainly believe they have got involved with something.'
james and corey talked about their experiences, the vietnamese girl bouncing her leg slightly as she talked, jake resting his hand atop it to stop it moving, his thumb running along her denim clad leg soothingly.
after the investigators giving them some final advice, the group said goodbye to them, the two leaving the hotel.
the group decided to go adventuring outside of the hotel for a bit, to uplift the mood.
they took some photos and went in a few shops before making their way back towards the langham.
when they set up the camera again, they had all gotten their london souvenirs. colby and corey wore hoodies, sam held a mug that had the queen on it, james held a union jack printed teddy bear, and jake was holding a weird statue that james was convinced he had picked up from the hotel itself.
sam and colby explained more about the hotel to the viewers and the other three in the group who weren't quite as caught up, before making their way to room 333.
they got situated in the room after looking around and discussing the history of it, james laying on the bed as the boys wandered around. she felt slightly ill, a headache kicking in.
'dude i can't wrap my mind around the fact that two people died in here.' a chill went down james' spine, her slight shiver making them glance towards her, curled up on the bed.
'well it is like, getting late so let's go explore the other room, the whole hotel while they still allow us, because if it gets too late they might kick us out for filming.'
'we said we wouldn't do a seance so we won't do that but i think we should stay up til 3. 3:33 in 333? it's gonna be.. insane.'
