𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠

"Y/N, it's great to see you again." Kate said smiling at him. 

Y/N smiled back and nodded "It's great to see you, Kate." Y/N looked behind her to see a party inside of a building. He used his super hearing to listen to music coming from within the building. "So, formal gathering?"

"Yeah..." Kate nodded while she placed her hands inside of her suit's pockets.

"You look good by the way." Y/N complimented as he looked at her in the suit.

"Thanks." Kate looked down at her suit then back at him. "How has the past years been treating you?"

Y/N looked down for a second before looking back up, Natasha's last words booming inside of Y/N head. "They've been...eventful to say the least."

"Woof!"

Y/N and Kate turned their heads down towards a dog that was sitting down on the snow, looking at them. 

"Hi." Kate greeted as the dog whimpers a bit. 

Y/N kneeled down on the ground and stretched his arms open, the dog got up and whimpered once more. He slowly walked towards Y/N and sniffed him first before allowing himself get petted by Y/N.

"How did you do that?" Kate asked Y/N as he rubbed the back of the dog. 

"I've had a lot of dogs during my childhood." He answered as he stood up. A car horn was heard and the dog turned towards it and ran away, "I hope he will be find."

"Yeah." Kate turned her head towards Y/N who was still watching the dog. "You've changed...got a lot more handsome." She whispered the last part, but was still picked up by Y/N. 

"You've changed as well." Y/N smiled as he turned around. Y/N once again felt the warm and fuzzy feeling inside his stomach. His skin starting to return to color, his eyes changing to E/C eyes.

Kate looked back towards the building and then back at Y/N, "You want to come inside? I really need a friend."

Y/N looked at the party members exiting the building and saw that they were all rich, "To a rich person party? Sure." Y/N smiled. 

Kate smiled back and started to walk inside the building with Y/N walking behind her. They were both happy to finally be able to hang out with each other, since before the Battle of New York.

"So...you retired from being a Avenger?" Kate asked Y/N as they walked through a hallway.

"Yeah," Y/N nodded as he glanced around the place. "My mom dead and now my dad dying last year...I just couldn't be a Avenger anymore." Y/N sighed and stopped as Kate stopped walking and looked towards a room where a woman and a old man were arguing. "You ok?"

"Yeah...I just need to check something out." Kate said walking towards a corner to listen in her mom's conversation.

"You with being so nosy..." Y/N shook his head and hide with Kate.

 "Don't insult my intelligence." The man snarled at Kate's mother.

"You're frankly insulting us both." Kate's mother shot back.

"I know what I saw." 

"You are all just-"

"Don't try that on me." The man said pointing a finger at her. "I gave you a opportunity to explain yourself." 

Y/N looked at the old man and Kate's mother continue to argue. Then Kate mothers stormed off, she walked past them and Kate walked towards her mom.
