Chapter 8 – eight months
It's nearly the end of the final semester and all the students are doing their exams. Katsuki and Kyoka are still being stubborn with each other not talking as they are both giving each other patience.
It was the day of the written exams and the pregnant teen was starting to feel rather hot and exhausted. She holds her hand out for Aizawa to head over towards her. "whats wrong Kyoka?" Aizawa asked whispering so the class isn't disturbed.
"can you open a window please, I feel really hot?" she asked removing her blazer. Katsuki gazes his eyes up listening to her words since is wasn't that hot. He carries on writing his answers on the exams but worried about Kyoka. The tired teacher opened the window and headed back to the front desk to keep an eye on both classes 3-A and 3-B as they were in a grand hall talking their eaxms together.
As the hours go passed, Kyoka was able to finish her written exam first and she weakly walks to Aizawa giving him the paperwork "please sir, I know I shouldn't leave the class but I cant stay in here, I feel like im dying of heat" the teen stresses. He looks at All Might who is willing to go outside with her just so that she has a teacher by her side.
Katsuki stands up worried and Aizawa knows that but doesn't want him to stress "Katsuki sit down please until your exam is finished"
"BUT SHE SAID SHE FEELS FAINT I NEED TO KNOW IF SHES OKAY!"
"she is with All Might now, she's fine, if anything happens you have every right to leave the class but for now remain seated!" Aizawa ordered angrily Katsuki fills out his answers on the sheets of paper worrying if Kyoka is okay.
The pregnant teen and All Might are happily talking and joking around about the future. He helps Kyoka up since she was getting back pains but the moment she stood up her whole body collapsed into All Mights arms. Carefully he picked the pregnant teen up to lay her on a nearby bench.
Luckily Eri was wondering around the outsides of the classes as her privet lessons were finished. "Young Eri come over here" the worried teacher instructed. "I need you to go into year 3's exam and tell Aizawa to get Young Bakugo out asap!" All Might panicked as the young girl ran to the grand hall.
Aizawa was drifting off to sleep until he heard Eri walk inside the exam which confused everyone. She walks over to her gardian whispering what had happened which worries the teacher. He feels Katsuki staring as he knew it was about Kyoka. "okay, go and get recovery girl okay" the teacher whispered as he stood up walking towards the stressed blonde. "how many pages do you have left to do?" he asked
"err...five" the angry blonde counted his pages and Aizawa sighed.
"right, I don't want you to panic, shout or yell...but Kyoka has fainted...don't panic!" Aizawa whisper shouted as Katuski was about to panic. "I want you to leave everything here, walk out the hall and to where All Might is, until Kyoka wakes up, you can make sure she is okay for an hour and then you come right back here to do extra additional time alright" Aizawa whispered his instructions. He walked to the desk and Katsuki then got up and quietly walked out the exams where everyone looked around confused.
The moment he left the hall, the teenage father to be sprinted outside to where Kyoka would be. The moment he saw Kyoka unconscious he panicked and blamed himself for not being with her every step she made. "Young Bakugo don't blame yourself, it happens to a lot of pregnant women. Recovery girl said she will be just fine" All Might explained whilst the other doctors of UA came to check on her putting her in a lfiting bed to take the pregnant teen to the infirmary.

"it's nothing but a heat stroke" recovery girl explained "the baby is safe, Kyoka is safe, she'll wake up very soon" the nurse decided to give Katsuki some time alone with the sleeping pregnant teen.
The moment he clasped his hand into Kyoka's hand, her eyes slowly fluttered open which makes Katsuki sigh and chuckle with relief. "thank god your awake" he said stroking Kyokas long purple hair. She wanted to smile but she was still annoyed with him how he hadn't tried to talk to her.
"wasn't expecting you to be so relieved" she tiredly spoke which confused Katsuki. "you know since youd rather be a pro hero than a father" she said sitting up.
"Kyoka I don't want either or, I want both, you know that!"
"whatever, don't you have exams to do, I wouldn't forgive myself if you failed because of me" she said. He could tell she was still broken hearted from the fight months ago but he had to be patient with her feelings which is why he didn't get as angry...infront of her anyway, the moment he left the infirmary he punched the wall leaving a dent in it but walked back to the exam hall so he could finish off his written exams.

That same night Katsuki sits in his room talking to his parents on the phone stressing as he is worried about Kyoka. "you just have to let her trust you Katsuki" Masaru said on the speaker phone but the son started to ger agitated.
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!" he yelled "IM SCARED, SHE'S OVER STRESSING BECAUSE OF THESE EXAMS AND IT'S BECAUSE OF ME! I NEED MY PARENTS TO HELP ME!"
"WE ARE HELPING YOU KATSUKI!" his mother yelled silencing the crying future father. "YOU NEED TO SHOW KYOKA YOU ARE THERE FOR HER, YOU CARE FOR HER AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THAT YOU'LL BE A FATHER TO YOUR DAUGHTER! THAT'S ALL WHAT SHE WANTS FROM YOU" Mitsuki explained whilst shouting which got her son silent.
She never wanted him to give up on his dreams, she just wanted him to take responsibuility on being a father and work just as hard to become number one hero. He relaised that Kyoka not only wanted him to be a father and hero but she wanted him to be both to their daughter.

The final exam was the physical exams. Everyone from class 3-A was partnered up with someone from 3-B and they had to fight each other testing their strengths in the safest way yet in a way they could defeat their villains when it comes to that in the future.
Katsuki looks behind to see Jiro doing her physical exam far away from everyone so she wouldn't get hurt and he knew he needed to be there. "Mr Aizawa can I go first!" Katsuki yelled as he and his partner (guys I have to be honest, I have no clue who to team him up with because I forgot all 1-b's names...so you can choose who he will be defeating in this exam)
Bakugo goes against his partner which took a few moments before he just quickly knocked them out with his quirk being stronger. Aizawa and All Might could tell he was stronger and gave him the pass of his exam. Whilst the other partners went against each other Katsuki couldn't stand back anymore and ran to the pregnant teenager because he knew she needed support.
As he ran over to Kyoka she starts to fall but is caught by the angry blonde who helps her get up. To continue her final exam. "use your quirk on me, use every strength you have on me, im gonna help you pass this exam" Katsuki said which made Kyoka smile slightly.
"I don't want to waste your time Bakugo"
"im only wasting my time when im not supporting you" he responded causing Kyoka to cry and giggle at the same time. "come on, use everything you have left on me, trust me I deserve it" he said so Kyoka did as he spoke.
Once everyone had finished their passes for the exam they watched Katsuki and Kyoka do her final exam due to using his all in his exam, Katsuki was extremely weak which gave Kyoka a better advantage to knock him to his knees. Everyone clapped watching the two work together and how Kyoka was able to defeat the mean Katsuki Bakugo.
Katsuki got himself up from the dusty concrete and walked over to the out of breath pregnant girl pulling her close into a hug not wanting to let go of her embrace. But he needed to look down in her eyes. "im going to make you a promise"
"and whats that?" she asked making Katsuki smile.
"I promise to never leave you alone like that again or leave you alone at all. I promise that I will do everything I can for you and our daughter" he said wiping the tears off her cheeks.
"that's like two promises" she giggled.
"I promise" was all he said pulling Kyoka into a hug which made everyone around them cry.
"thank you Katsuki Bakugo, that's all I needed to hear from you" she giggled falling back into his embrace.
"I aint missing a single thing" he whispered again holding Kyoka tighter not wanting to let her go.
