Scarlett’s POV 

“Come on we will go into the northern bathrooms for 10 minutes so everybody including teachers get to their classes,” Alex instructed 

“Cool,” I said placing the note in my blazer pocket and following them into the very modern bathrooms 

“Be completely quiet,” Alex said walking to a bathroom stall. I went into the one opposite her and pulled my knees to my face so that my feet wouldn’t be seen 

I sat there the sound of my own breathing was now transparent. I slowly breathed out of my nose when I heard Alex’s bathroom stall unlock I jumped onto my feet and walked to her. 

“Okay we got to move out now,” Alex instructed both me and Tori nodded in agreeing to her request. 

Caleb, James and Damien walked out at the same time tip toeing their way to the bushes where we sprinted out way up north to the sound of the small crashing waterfall.

“Scar there is trees over there get changed okay?” Cabal instructed 

“Okay did you already get unchanged?” I asked he pulled down his pants to reveal blue board shorts 

“Yep, Alex you go there, Tori is you want to swim get dressed there and boys you can just strip I am sure the girls won’t look…much,” He joked 

I quickly got unchanged my arm shaking from the adrenaline of skipping on my first day. I pulled the small piece of fabric that acted like a belt in every pair of boxers that I had seen and tied a small shoe lace knot. I put the over- sized singlet over it all and smiled. I put the school uniform on a rock that was close enough to grab and run but far away enough not to get wet.

“You guys ready?” I asked 

Caleb was already on top of the 5 foot waterfall. He did a backflip into the water a smiled swimming to the middle of the lake grabbing a thick piece of rope and swimming back to the rock. 

“Want to have a go?” He asked 

“You check it’s safe,” I shrugged 

He whipped his hair away from his face with a flick. Putting one arm on the rope he jumped as soon as it was as high as it could be and dropped into the water. He flew back up and re holding the rope he swam to me. 

“Long rope,” I smiled grabbing the rope and walking up the waterfall “3, 2, 1,” I whispered jumping on the one I landed around the same spot hat Caleb did. We both heard laughed then Alex, James, Tori and Damien were chucking clear mud at each other I swan to the bottom of the lake and got some mud jumping on Calebs back and smeared mud in his hair 

“Oh you will regret that!” He shouted grabbing some mud from his hair and chasing me. This went on until we heard the second period bell where Caleb grabbed my arm and squatted behind the tree with me. 

“Why are we doing this?” I asked

“Shush sometime teachers look over here for class skippers,” Caleb explained in a low whisper putting his index finger over my mouth   

“What do we do with break time?” I asked ever so silently 

“Don’t worry about break time people are usually in debates over at the ball room so nobody comes here,” He whispered 

We were fine until third period came on and we hid in the bushes. I was right at the back of the groups’ formation behind a tree. I felt a hard tug at my ear make me stand up. 

“Sit back down Scar…” Caleb started but then changed his attitude “Good morning Pastor Joseph and Nicholas,”  

Damien, James, Tori and Alex turned right around
