Joe’s POV 

I parked the car and watched as Scarlett was greeted by Nick at the door. I locked the door and smiled, Kevin is great with Kids and Scarlett looks to of have calmed down right now. She kept grabbing her stomach and looked in pain but I heard that happens with girls when they are going through ‘that time of the month’ thank goodness I did not have to give her that talk I thought to myself smiling. Once I walked in Scarlett was sitting crossed legged on the couch as Nick was standing across the room leaning against the old white fireplace that had a flat screen planted on the wall right on top of it  

“You understand what this means?” He asked handing her a magazine 

“What’s going on?” I asked 

“Scarlett is in tomorrow’s magazine for her truanting yesterday apparently somebody at the school told but they are anonymous must be one of your classmates,” Nick muttered in anger but not anger at Scarlett more like anger at the school 

I sat next to Scarlett and she gave me the magazine. ‘She is just a rebellious teenage girl, a lost hope in today’s society. She doesn’t have a purity ring like her brothers; she has had a history of this behaviour. Sooner or later we are going to have a Paris Hilton looking, Lindsey Lohan acting sixteen year old Jonas’   

“I hope you know this is complete bull Nick. Scarlett would never go out in something inappropriate without us telling her to go change and if she ever took any kind of drugs she know we would make sure she would not be able to sit for the rest of the year,” I smiled 

“Scarlet what does it mean by a history of this behaviour?” Nick asked

“I don’t know,” She mumbled putting her head down 

“Scarlett I know you are lying but I don’t care about the past I just need to know the basics but you know I really hate liars,” He warned 

“Okay I went through a pretty bad stage early last year but come on I was 13,” She confessed 

“Did you do any drugs?” I asked 

“No of course not I just hung out with bad people, skipped school and simple teenage things,” She admitted 

I breathed a sigh of relief and stood up “Okay now Scarlet I want you to go to your room and also you are going to bed at 7 30 instead of 10 because of morning detention and no cell phone or laptop and if I hear the television go in I will be mad okay?” I asked

She made a mean face then calmed herself down with a deep breath, “fine then I will,” She muttered walking up the staircase slowly 

Me and Nick looked at each other in surprise, “Wow no argument,” I whispered to Nick 

I heard Scarlett come back down the stairs with something in her hands but I wasn’t sure what she stood in front of Nick and gave him her laptop which was the thing she had in her hands. 

“I turned it off in case somebody called in the middle of the night,” She said reaching into her pocket and handing me her phone then heading up the stairs 

“Kevin is a miracle worker,” Nick gasped putting the laptop on the glass coffee table 

I put the phone on top of the laptop and smiled “Have you checked your diabetes?” I asked  

“That reminds me I am a bit low on sugar,” He exclaimed walking to the kitchen and pouring some juice I sat back onto the couch and turned on the television but when Nick walked in I muted it 

“So what are we going to do with Scarlett?” I asked 

“Well a spanking of course we can’t back down now,” Nick believed
