The story begins the night of Suman and Aditya's wedding. Aditya forces himself on Sumo who is screaming for help. Shravan hears Sumo's screams and breaks the door to her room, storming in to find Aditya on top of Sumo and her crying. Sumo pushes Aditya of and runs into Shravan's hands who is beyond shocked.

Shravan and Aditya have a fight which is broken up by Nanu who then settles the issue. Aditya and Nirmala leave the house after apologizing and everyone in the family retreats back to their rooms. Sumo is in her room when Preeti tells her to eat something and tell Shravan to eat something too, who is sitting outside in silence. Sumo takes food and approaches Shravan, thanking him for saving his life. This is what happens when Shravan starts heading out to leave the house.

Shravan: And please, don't say thanks. Because I would have done the same for anyone......(heading out but before turn his head one more time).......take care.......

Shravan turns around and was about to leave the house when he hears a thump sound followed by the shattering of plates. He stops walking and turns around to find the plate of food on the ground and Sumo collapsed. He rushed up to her and tries to wake her up. But sadly there is no response. He screams out her name but nothing.

The noise wakes up the rest of the people in the house. Soon everyone comes into the living room and are shocked at what they see.

Mamiji: Suman!! Shravan, what happened to her?! (Shocked to see her in Shravan's arms)

Nanu: Suman!!!

Mamiji: Shravan what happened to her!?!

Shravan: I don't know! I was leaving and she just collapsed! (Patting her cheeks) Sumo!!! Sumo get up!!

Preeti: (with a worried expression) Somebody call the doctor!!

Nanu: Shravan take her to the room.

Shravan scoops her into his strong arms and brings her to her room. He carefully lies her on her bed and covers her with a blanket. He rubs her hands to try and warm up her cold body. Mamaji calls the doctor and they all wait in worry till he arrives. Tears slip from Shravan's eyes and Sumo shows absolutely no movement. Nanu and the others try to reassure to him that nothing will happen to her, but he can't think of anything more in this time. His mind is flooded with thoughts of her, she invades is mind and every neuron in it.

The doctor arrives within a couple of minutes and orders everyone to leave her room. Shravan denies leaving her alone but with some words from Nanu he reluctantly agrees. The rest of the family goes and sits in the living room waiting for the doctor to finish assessing Suman. Shravan, on the other hand, paces back and forth in front of Sumo's room. He is frustrated to the max level, constantly tuning his fingers through his hair which is ruffed up by now. The blazer from his suit is long off and his shirt wrinkled.

The doctor comes out of the room and the family stands up, eagerly to know what was going on. Shravan rushes to the doctor in hopes of some positive news.

Shravan: Arora Uncle! How is Sumo?! She's going to be fine right?! What happened to her?! Please say something!!! (Worried)

Doctor Arora: She is in no danger right now.

Mamiji: Thank god! (Holding her hands in a prayer position)

Doctor Arora: But...

Shravan: But what?

Doctor: Being her family and friends I need to ask a series of questions.

Shravan: Yes Arora Uncle?
