PROMISE : Three

"Sir, Mr Choi had set an appointment with you at the NGM Cafe owned by your sister. You need to be there at 5:00 PM sharp." Seungcheol's secretary barged in and told him another schedule that has been set today.

"Okay, I'll be there." Seungcheol answered, as he's busy with the paper works.

His hands are doing all the work but his mind is spacing out thinking about Jeonghan.

"I will treat you better, just please come back to me." Seungcheol mumbled unconsciously when his eyes suddenly landed on the picture frame on his desk. The picture that has always a special place in his heart, their picture in Jeju.

Few hours passed, and Seungcheol drove his way on the cafe. He wonders what his Dad is up to.

As soon as he arrived at the cafe, there's Nagyeol outside, seemed to be waiting for someone that Seungcheol assumed was him.

"Nagyeol, what are you doing here outside?" Seungcheol asked. She's supposed to be inside.

"Don't come inside," Nagyeol looked at his brother with a worried face.

"Why?" Seungcheol became nervous all of a sudden. "Let's go," Seungcheol then drag his sister inside and there's his father, with the Cho family excluding Yoonwoo, Jeongyeon and Beomgyu, and of course Seungcheol's friends and Cheolhan's business partners.

Soohyang is in front with Cheolhan. As soon as Cheolhan saw Seungcheol, his smile grew bigger, "Oh, so here is my son, the soon to be husband of our dear Soohyang." Cheolhan's statement made Seungcheol crease his forehead.

"What are you saying, Dad?" Seungcheol will surely refuse and protest.

"The wait is too long, you're already in the right age to get marry." Cheolhan chuckled as he looked at Soohyang.

Seungcheol walked towards his Dad, "Dad, I AM MARRIED. Don't you remember, I am married with Jeonghan!" Seungcheol's voice was too loud that even the guests heard them.

"But is your lovely Jeonghan here? He's nowhere to be seen, right?" Cheolhan smiled meaningfully at his son.

"We're still married, Dad. Even if he's here or not, not unless he's dead." Seungcheol became so firm. He can't let Cheolhan dictate him again this time.

Nagyeol looked worriedly at his brother. After a long time, Seungcheol went against his father, again.

If Seungcheol wasn't able to protect Jeonghan from his father before, well now he will, again.

"I'm sure he's already dead so just marry Soohyang so we'll get wealthier." Cheolhan tried to bribe Seungcheol with wealth and money, but his son says no.

"No, Dad. I will never be a victim of your greediness and hunger for money. Don't use me as a bait so you can catch a bigger fish." Seungcheol angrily said, and Cheolhan was about to slap him when Jeongyeon interferes.

"Have a shame, Cheolhan. We're in front of our guests and most importantly, your business partners and investors." Jeongyeon whispered, saving Seungcheol from getting slapped.

"This young man here deserves a slap for disrespecting me!" Cheolhan angrily said and looked sternly at Seungcheol.

"I'm not a young man anymore, Dad. I can fully decide what I want to do." Seungcheol said and took a step towards his Dad.

"And you know what I want to do?" Seungcheol smirked first before continuing, "Is to free myself from you and find Jeonghan." Seungcheol then turned into a wild tiger.

He faced the crowd with a proud posture. Beomgyu, his friends, and Nagyeol looked at him with proud smiles on their faces.

"There will be no wedding. I will never marry Cho Soohyang, because I, Choi Seungcheol, is already married to Yoon Jeonghan."

Jeonghan was shocked to hear all of those revelations. So, everything that has happened to him since the beginning, was all Cheolhan's plan?

Is that why when Seungcheol told Cheolhan four years ago that Nagyeol was alive and Rina held her captive, Cheolhan was just chill and didn't believe him? Yes that's why.

"Why are you just saying this to me?" Jeonghan asked. After all of the things that happened, why is Seunghee appearing right now and even made the innocent five-year old Seungcheol suffer.

"Because this is the right time, Jeonghan." Seunghee said, and held Jeonghan's hands.

"I'm so sorry that we have to sacrifice your childhoods for this mess, but we had to just to keep all of you safe from Cheolhan's evil plans." Seunghee said. She felt so guilty for coming up with that plan to go against Cheolhan.

"It's fine. I understand you." Jeonghan smiled. He fully understands Seunghee's intentions, tho it's kinda regretful that he never got to enjoy his childhood due to the trauma and he even got an amnesia due to the incident.

"I'm back!" Yoonwoo surprised them! He was eavesdropping the whole time but didn't want to disturb their conversation. Now, he finally got to knew who Jeonghan and Seunghee are.

Now, he wanted to protect this guy at all cost, even though he knows that Jeonghan will never choose him.

"I'm just gonna place all the groceries in the fridge." Yoonwoo said before proceeding at the kitchen to arrange all the groceries he bought.

"Don't you like him?" Seunghee suddenly asked Jeonghan.

"Yoonwoo?" Jeonghan asked if she's referring to Yoonwoo, and Seunghee nodded.

"I can't like him." Jeonghan smiled and his eyes locked on Yoonwoo who seemed to notice Jeonghan's stare, so he smiled.

"Why not?" Seunghee asked, smiling. She herself knows the answer to that.

"He's too good for me. I don't deserve the love he wanted to give." Jeonghan said, feeling kinda shy to have a conversation like this with Seungcheol's mother.

"Why do you think you don't deserve it?" Seunghee asked once again, and this time, Jeonghan's answer made her smile.

"It's because I'm still in love with the person I met four years ago."

Jeonghan smiled upon confessing that. Little he did know that, that he already met that person almost eighteen years ago in the place we called Theme Park.

After all these years, it's still Seungcheol who owns Jeonghan's heart.

"Even though he cheated on you?" Seunghee asked, and Jeonghan looked at her in shock. He never told her that incident, especially after knowing she's Seungcheol's mom.

"H-How..?"

"I always know everything about my son." Seunghee smiled and chuckled.

"So why is it still him?" Seunghee asked once again.

For that question, Jeonghan sighed first before answering it. Jeonghan's answer brought joy in Seunghee's heart.

"I don't know, eommonim. Love doesn't need an explanation right? All I know is, I still love him no matter what he did in the past, present or future. I will still choose him even in after and second life."
