PROMISE : Ten

Seungcheol was left there, hanging, standing in front of the cafe. He didn't intended to hurt him, again.

Now, he realizes, that with Soohyang here, Jeonghan's mind will never be at peace.

Seungcheol runs inside the cafe and harshly grab Soohyang out the cafe, leaving the customers stunned with the sudden act. Everyone will notice, bruh.

"Come with me," Seungcheol gritted his teeth. If earlier, he's so careful not to hurt her feelings, now he needs to clear everything.

Nagyeol and Minhyuk followed them out. Nagyeol ordered the cafe's manager to entertain the customers to avoid gossips.

"What?! Are you gonna yell at me? Shout at me? Because Jeonghan clearly got hurt?!" Soohyang shouted as soon as they got out.

"I want to clear everything, Soohyang." Seungcheol managed to stay calm. He needs Soohyang to understand.

That he's choosing Jeonghan, and will forever choose him. He was blinded, and he committed mistakes, and now to do that, he needs to finally get rid of her.

"Our oh-so-called relationship ended long time ago. All of those are just a piece of memory. Soohyang, I need you to understand that I'm not choosing you."

Soohyang's world seemed to crash. The guy she waited for five years is now completely gone.

"I'm sorry if you waited for me before and I didn't. And now it's clear why fate didn't let me wait for you because there's someone who's really meant for me." Seungcheol added and holds her by her shoulder.

"I want you to give up on me."

"But why?!"

"Because there's no use anymore, Soohyang." Seungcheol replied. Soohyang can't believe her ears.

The guy she seduced before is now opening his eyes.

"Why can't you just love me, again?" Soohyang asked. How many times should she ask this question with such an obvious answer.

"Soohyang, you're just hurting yourself." Seungcheol said, and left his final remark, "I love Jeonghan. Only him."

He left the cafe and drove with his car. He just drove and drove. He doesn't even know where his car wheels will take him. He's just driving without knowing the destination is. Where he will stop.

Then, he stopped near a shop and decided to took out his phone to dial someone's number.

"What?" It was Nagyeol from the other line sounding so annoyed.

She must be probably annoyed because she was left with Soohyang in front of her own cafe.

"Pack my orders. I'm gonna give those to Jeonghan to reconcile and say sorry. You better pack it well. And pack it with Purple wrapping because he loves Purple. Make sure it's neat and nice or else I'll smack you hard. Bye loser." Seungcheol hangs up the call.

The character development that he has is he will definitely say sorry even if he knows himself he didn't do anything wrong.

Because he loves him.

"Any news?" Seunghee asked Yoonwoo inside her office. She needs to know more updates about Cheolhan.

"Yoo Jeongyeon and Choi Beomgyu left the house." Yoonwoo shared the information. Seunghee smirked.

"Make sure that Cheolhan won't know that Jeongyeon will go to Areum and Minseok's house." Seunghee said.

Jeongyeon will now reunite with her niece and nephew in law. Beomgyu will finally meet his cousins.

"I'm preparing for the right time to reveal all of these. On how he tried to kill us," Seunghee said in so much grudge. She's so eager to take a revenge.

Cheolhan deserves to feel the downfall. He deserves to feel pain and every bad things in the world.

His two children left him, and now his wife and youngest child. Only left in him was his money. Will he finally learn the value of love?

"Call Jeonghan, tell him we're gonna drop the next bomb." Seunghee ordered Yoonwoo.

Yoonwoo immediately followed and dialled Jeonghan's number. But after a few rings, Jeonghan didn't answer.

"He's not answering, aunt Seunghee." Yoonwoo said and re-dialled Jeonghan's number. But there are already too many attempts and Jeonghan won't pick up the phone.

"Did something bad happened to him?" Seunghee wondered and immediately stood up and get her bag.

She's too worried for Jeonghan. She knows that Cheolhan's main target will be probably Jeonghan. He can't hurt his own son, but he can with Nagyeol.

"Can you call Mr Oh Sehun to track Jeonghan's phone?" Seunghee ordered and Yoonwoo was about to call Sehun, when they ran onto Jeonghan who seemed spacing out.

"J-Jeonghan-ah.." Seunghee uttered out his name.

Jeonghan looked at her and immediately ran towards her and hugged her tight. As if she's Jeonghan's mom.

"Eommonim.." Jeonghan sobbed and cried out loud.

Seunghee hugged him back and accompanied her inside her office and ordered Yoonwoo, "Ask Somi to bring him a cup of water."

"Yes, ma'am."

Seunghee made Jeonghan sit on the couch inside her office.

"E-Eommonim.. i-it hurts.." Jeonghan struggled to talk. By that, Seunghee got a hunch on what happened.

She immediately dialled a phone number and the person she called quickly answered the phone. "At my office. Now."

"I-I saw t-them.. h-hugging.." Jeonghan keeps on crying. His mind is too messed up because of Soohyang.

"Is it Seungcheol?" Seunghee's hunch was right. She can never be wrong. The only wrong she did is when she married Choi Cheolhan.

Jeonghan slowly nods at her question as a yes. Seunghee hugged Jeonghan tight. "In love, you will definitely experience to feel heart broken. If you're not hurting, it's not love."

"B-But why d-does it n-needs to b-be t-this painful?" Jeonghan asked, as if like he's a little kid with no experience in love.

"Because you also love too much. You love Seungcheol so much that's why you're hurting like this." Seunghee smiled.

"I'm sure he explained to you, but you didn't listen to him and gave his explanation a chance." Seunghee smiled, and Jeonghan slowly realizes that she's right.

"Reading your face, seems like I'm right." Seunghee then releases herself from the hug.

"Real cheaters won't be able to think of an explanation on the spot. They will stutter for sure. But did he?" Seunghee asked and Jeonghan shook his head.

"I know it's about Soohyang. But I can assure you, Seungcheol will never look at her again the same way he used to before." Seunghee said, and Jeonghan creased his forehead in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Jeonghan's eyes are swollen and his snot almost got out of his nose.

"It's because his eyes only sparkle whenever he looks at you."
