Chapter 2: Meeting the Madrigals

     **Camilo and Mirabel POV**

Mirabel: What do you think that was? Camilo: I'm not sure but she said it sounded like the person was in Pain. Mirabel: I hope that person is fine. Camilo: I mean if the their hurt we can ask your mom to heal them anyways. Mirabel: Oh yea. But why would someone go here in the forest. Camilo: I'm not sure but we should still be careful.


Camilo and Mirabel try finding where that sound came from in the forest. TIME SKIP TO 7 MINUTES LATER.


Camilo and Mirabel found a girl that they did not recognize, they saw a scar on her forehead "She was probably the one who screamed considering she has a scar on her forehead" says Mirabel. Camilo carried the girl to the house while Mirabel was following them. Once they got back to Casita Mirabel explained everything to Julieta. Julieta started making food for the girl hence for the girl's scar.


**Y/n POV**

I woke up seeing a wooden roof in front of me. I realized I passed out in the forest and the fact that I was in someone's house. I sat up seeing a woman talking to 2 other people whilst holding food. The woman turns to her right and looks at me and says "Oh your awake, please eat this food I made, it will heal the scar on your forehead" I took the food and ate it, my scar later disappeared. "Hi I'm Julieta the mother of Mirabel", "who's Mirabel" Y/n thought to herself "and you must be?" "oh um my name is Y/n" Y/n said nervously.


"Hi Y/n My name is Camilo" Mirabel stands up and says "Hi I'm Mirabel, Julieta is my mother and Camilo is my cousin!" They looked like good people considering the fact that they brought me in here to heal my scar. "So Y/n why were you in the forest?" asked Julieta "Well I was looking for a place to stay cause I've been living by myself for 3 years ever since my parents threw me away". Julieta and Camilo looked at Y/n Shocked "I'm so sorry to hear tha-" Y/n interrupted the 3 by saying "It's fine guys that was 3 years ago. I'm all better now " Mirabel looked at Y/n and started to worry so she changed the subject by asking "Heyy Y/n do you want to meet the rest of my family?" "uh sure that would be great".


**Camilo POV**

I feel weird... It's like I have butterflies in my stomach. "Camilo are you alright?" "Oh uh Yes I'm fine Mirabel" I see the mysterious girl wake up from the chair. Tia Julieta Made her eat the food she made. "I wonder what her name is, she kinda looks cute" I thought to myself while smiling. Mirabel notices me staring at the mysterious girl, smiling. "Oooh I think someone has a crush~" she whispers to me. "Mira! I don't even know who she is! or where she's from!" I whisper back while blushing a bit.


**No one's POV**

   Mirabel brings Y/n up to the 2nd floor of the Casita. Mirabel was about to knock on Dolores' door but she immediately opened it knowing what was happening cause she heard the entire convo. "Hi Y/n I'm Dolores, Mirabel's other cousin and Camilo's older sister." "um Hi nice to meet you Dolores." "how on earth did she know my name and what's going on". 

Mirabel figured Y/n doesn't know about the gifts since she is from the outside and not Encanto. Mirabel simply explained to Y/n about their gifts and how they work. "I see. I think I've read about the Madrigals and their gifts on a book before but I didn't actually know they were real". Mirabel and Dolores looked confused. "You've read about us...? In a book? but how do they know who we are?" "Well you guys are actually fictional to other people outside Encanto". 
Y/n grabs a book from her bag that says "The Madrigals". Y/n hands over the book to Mirabel then they start to read it. Dolores asked if she could keep the book Y/n agreed and Dolores took it. 


**TIME SKIP** 1 hour later
