Chapter Twenty Four

Ink looked down "I'm not proud of it but yes it happened so what? That has nothing to with now, give them back if you want something deal with me, don't use the poor kids" Ink said, Inko held them closer to her.

Nightmare bit her again so she dropped him finally and he ran to Ink "you've got to help please help get her back" Nightmare asked Ink looked down and nodded "of course I'll get her back she's not going anywhere with her" Ink replied.

Inko laughed then began to run away. Nightmare started yelling for Inko to come back but she didn't listen, "stay with the others and don't move okay? I'll be back with Star Fire" Ink said, Ink then transformed back into a dragon and waited till she as a bit farther and started to fly.

"Oh NO you don't Inko" Ink rawred Inko just laughed and kept running and Ink kept flying after her but couldn't catch up to her, he couldn't figure out why till he figured it out "she's using her powers to keep her distance I have to figure out how to use mine to best her" Ink thought.

Ink then looked back to where the kids were waiting. Dream was still trying to catch butterflies "I guess he's trying to distract himself" Ink thought as he looked back to find Star Fire was staring at him with a frown on her face.

Ink stared back at her and tried to tell her with his eyes that he was coming for her but it wasn't working, "I'll take care of you dear don't worry dear everything will be alright now auntie has you" Inko told her Star Fire stuck her tongue out at her.

"You put me down or else mis besides your no auntie of mine if your evil" Star Fire told her as she wiggled in Inko's arms, Inko held steady though and kept her speed steady, "it's okay you'll change your mind when I'm done with you" Inko told her as she neared the clearing.

Ink sped up little by little he noticed he was catching up to her then he noticed that she was letting her guard down little by little, Star Fire was distracting her enough he noticed so he took that bit and jumped on Inko and held her down.

He's talens spread out across Inko's body Inko looked up at Ink "do it just do it already I dare you" she told him knowingly Ink just put pressure onto Inko's chest "don't tempt me" Ink said though his mind, Inko laughed "oh please I know you won't especially in front of the kid" Inko told him.

Ink bit his lip "damn it she's right I wouldn't in front of the kids" Ink thought Ink then back off just enough to let her sit up Inko hugged Star close to her "you won't get her if you want her so bad you'll have her dead body back" Inko threatened, Ink growled at her Inko laughed "ooooo touchy" she laughed.

"But still I will do it I will kill her faster than you can grab her" Inko told him Ink growled again this time louder and longer, "I'll jump you first before you do that don't test me Inko" Ink told her though his mind Inko stared at his eyes "huhm I bet I will be faster than you" Inko told him.

Ink pressed onto Inko again and put her down to the clearings floor again and didn't let her up this time StarFire struggled in Inko's arms "let me go! I don't want to be evil, not one bit" Star whined, Ink looked at star then glared at Inko.

"You're turning her evil? HAHAHHA not on my watch" Ink yelled at her Ink then grabbed Star with his other tallen and pulled her out of Inko's grasp then he set her onto his back, "hold on tight" he moaned she didn't know what he said but felt the shift in his back.

:Back with Mafia and Brook:

Mafia and Brook had left the castle and was on their way to the city "I can't wait for this Mafi it's been a while since we've done this and it's our first time eating out like this" Brook said with a shaky voice Mafia grinned at her, "your right it is our first time eating out but not our first time together" he replied.

Brook fidgeted with her hands "yeah that's true I guess but still it feels like this is the actual real time we're on a date together" Brook told him, Mafia pulled her closer to him "well then I better make it good for you then" Mafia told her.

Brook laughed "oh Mafia your funny you don't have to do that just being with you is special enough for me" Brook told him Mafia then looked at her for a split second then looked at the road to find that they were on the wrong side.

A truck was coming towards them full forus Mafia panicked "dear god no, NO this can't happen I won't let it" Mafia freaked out as he swerved into the right side of the road but it was a bit to late, the truck hit their rear end and they went spinning down the hill.

All the sudden the car finally stopped by a tree Brook's airbag burst and Brook started to bleed. Mafia looked at her in shock, "oh my god ROSIE, ROSIE talk to me please say something anything please yell at me or something Brook!" Mafia said as he pulled her backwards and held her.

Brook then moaned and groaned "wow what a ride lets do that again" she whispered Mafia took a breath "NO not a chance" Mafia told her, Brook looked up at him "what's the matter Mafia? That wasn't fun enough for you?" Brook asked.

"Oh Brook" Mafia said not knowing what to say Brook then smiled at him "let's get going Mafia I'm getting hungry" Brook told him Mafia shook his head "not before you get checked out" Mafia told her, Brook started to pout "oh come on I'll heal don't worry about me" Brook told him.

"Your so stubborn Rosie but that's why I love you" Mafia said as he kissed her forehead "you win we'll get something to eat first but then you have to promise we'll get checked out" Mafia asked, Brook nodded weakly "fine, fine if you want" Brook said as she started to sit up.

Mafia pulled down a bit "hold on there don't get up just yet at least not to fast" Mafia told her with concern in his voice Brook sighed but did as he asked and got up more slowly, when she was sitting up she looked out the window to find that her window was broken out.

"Oh boy the car took it hard I guess huh" she said Mafia nodded "that's why we're not doing it ever again" Mafia replied, Brook snickered "ohhh fine" Brook said as she sat up fully and looked down at herself, "oh my your right It is bad isn't it?" Brook muttered.

Mafia didn't say anything as she kept a hold of his hand Brook then layed back down on top of Mafia's lap Mafia pulled her hair away from her face, "what's wrong Rosie? Am I right? Do we need a dr?" Mafia asked in a worried tone again.

"I guess we won't be getting to the beach after all huh?" Brook asked Mafia gave her sad eyes "I'm sorry maybe another time my princess" Mafia answered, Brook nodded slowly Mafia pulled her into his arms and Mafia slowly climbed out of the car and started heading to the nearest hospital.

:Ink and Inko:

Ink threw Inko into a tree Ink then took no time at all and flew away then swooped down and grabbed the other kids and flew back to the castle, "what happened to that woman? What's going to happen now?" Nightmare asked him, Ink did his best to shrug in his dragon form.

Nightmare looked back to where Inko was left laying there by the tree "will she be alright?" Dream asked "why would you worry about her anyway? She just tried to run off with us" Nightmare said in a tone.

Con shrugged "I know and I'm grateful that your back but still I don't feel ill will for her" Con explained Ink smiled inside "that's a boy be the bigger person" Ink thought, Con patted Ink on the back "even if you look scary your cool from up here" Con told him in an awkward tone.
