Chapter Twenty Three

:That night at the castle:

"Oh I dare alright don't you start with me" Semion told her "I can be with my daughter if I want to" she replied "huhm not if I don't want to be I can decide as well you know" Brook replied, the queen stepped even closer and Mafia got in front.

"You heard her she can decide on her own" he told her the queen huffed and backed off "why I never just because I said they should leave and be on their own I thought they'd be grateful" the queen said, Zelda and Brook shook their heads at the same time.

:The next day:

It was around lunchtime and the weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold just nice, "I think we should let the kids outside to play for a while, what do you think?" Brook said the kids stopped playing and looked up at Brook and Mafia.

"Oh yeah can we? Can we please?" Dream and Star asked Mafia looked at them then looked at Nightmare and Con then looked to Brook and sighed, "yes I guess they could get some energy out of them" Mafia said as Ink came into the room.

"That's a great Idea you two should go out and spend some time together yourself, I could watch them for you it'd be a good idea for me to spend time with them" Ink told them, Brook looked to Mafia not knowing what to say.

Mafia looked at Ink "what will you get out of this? Why are you being this nice? I don't know if we should go for it or not, why would you want to watch them all?" Mafia asked, Ink stared between him and Brook "I want to be with my kids I want to get close to them that's all and I don't mind watching the others with them" Ink replied.

Brook's eyes brightened "can we? Please, please we should go out for lunch and spend time together I want to be with you Mafi please let him" Brook asked, Mafia thought and thought and thought then he gave in "oh I guess he could my dear but where will we go?" Mafia asked.

"While you guys figure that out I'll take the kids outside to play" Ink told them Ink then gathered the kids and went outside, Semion was sitting in the chair watching and nobody noticed that he was there till Mafia went past the chair.

"Oh hello sir how are you?" Mafia asked as he stopped and turned to Semion, Semion smiled at him and nodded "I'm fine how are you guys doing?" he replied, "oh hi dad we're alright I'm still sore and tired but I'm getting there" she told him.

"I'm glad to hear it" he said then looked at Mafia "so where do you think of going then for lunch?" Semion asked them, Mafia shrugged "into town to a restaurant I guess then a walk on the beach maybe" Mafia told him Brook looked to Mafia in surprise "really? A beach?" she said.

Mafia grinned and nodded but then shrugged "don't know it's whatever we feel like I guess huh" Mafia said "well either way I should go back up then and get ready for whatever comes ah?" she said as she hobbled towards the stairs.

Semion looked at Mafia "really? A beach I don't think she's ready for, for god sake she's still recovering I'm surprised she can walk just yet" he told Mafia, Mafia had to agree just a little as he watched Brook struggle for the stairs.

"Hunny don't worry about going up I don't think we will after all your dad's right we shouldn't go just yet maybe when you get more strength in your legs we will go to the beach" Mafia said as he went to her and helped her back towards the door.

"Oh dad why shouldn't we? We could easily sit in the sand and watch the waves" she complained, "sorry dear but I don't think you should for your own health I was just looking out for you but if you really want to I guess I can't stop you" he said with a tiny smile.

Brook then got out of Mafia's grip and headed for the stairs again "I'm just going to go up and get my swimming stuff I'll be right back don't move" she said and started to giggle on her way up the stairs.

"What are we going to do with that girl?" Semion asked Mafia as Brook went around the corner finally Mafia shrugged and smiled "who knows sir who really knows" Mafia replied Mafia decided to sit down in a chair across from Semion and wait.

:Meanwhile with Inko:

Inko was walking around in the forest Inko sighed "I thought since it was a nice day the kids would be outside in the woods, I don't know where the castle is but I do know the woods" she thought, as she went over to a root of a tree and sat down.

:Ink:

"Come on kids lets go for a walk and see what we can find around here" Ink told them the kids jumped, ran and played but star Fire frowned as she watched everyone "I wish I could play like them" StarFire said, Ink looked over to Star and frowned at her.

"I'm sorry Star I wish I could do something for ya" Ink said as they walked along together as the others were now ahead of them, Ink watched as Nightmare and Dream jumped into the air as they tried to catch butterflies.

Con came back to Ink and Star Con then touched Star Fire's chair "it's okay sis I'm here with yeah" Con said "awe Con I didn't know you felt that way about your sister?" Ink siad, Con Blushed "don't get me wrong dude I just don't like it....

"When there's someone left out" Con told Ink, Ink nodded "I see either way though I think it's sweet" he told him Con then began to push Star Fire "why don't you come and try to get butterflies with us?" Con suddenly said Star looked to Ink then to Con and nodded.

Ink found a root closest to them and sat down and watched them all playing "don't go too far guys keep to where I can see you alright?" he yelled "yes sir" they yelled, :A little bit later: Inko heard a russell in the leaves so she strained her ears and there right ahead of her she heard kids.

:Inko:

"This is perfect just right when I was giving up I knew I should've stayed here" she thought to herself happily Inko then got up and started walking till the sound got louder, Inko then hid behind trees and looked everywhere to see if anyone noticed her.

When they hadn't noticed her she stared at the two kids Inko then looked around again then she ran to one of the kids and ended up grabbing two, Inko smiled as she ran off "perfect just perfect I've got two of them instead of one more bang for my buck I guess" she muttered.

"Who are you lady? What do you want with us?" Star Fire asked as Nightmare started to hit Inko then he bit her "OWCH DO YOU MIND KID I only wanted one of you not two" she told them, "why?" Star asked Inko slowed her pace then and took a deep breath.

"Because I'm trying to get back at your parents for messing up my plans and for taking my men" she explained but right when she calmed her breathing she noticed someone was coming, someone very fast.

Inko tried to hide but couldn't in time "well, well, well what do we have here? Its my sister and she's up to no good as usual" Ink said "so what do you want! Where are you taking thoughts kids? They didn't do a thing to you plus one is your niece" Ink told Inko.

Inko looked down at Star and stared "this rat of a thing? She's my, my no can't be the only way that'd be is if you DID IT with......with, with Brook omg NO why would you want to?" Inko asked.
