I sigh opening up discord to see a missed call from Nick I also see that he's online so I call him
"Hello?" Nick says with his soft but beautiful voice
"hii sorry I missed your call I was busy but we can talk now if you want :)"
You can hear Nick moving around in the background softly giggling
"Yea we can talk I was just bored"
I turn my FaceCam on and spin in my chair
"Nickk turn your FaceCam on"
Nick turns his face cam on and my face turns bright red and I think to myself "how can someone be so beautiful"
Wait no he can't think this snap is his best friend nothing more that would be weird
"Karl I see you blushing"
"Oh umm hahaha" I cover my face with my oversized hoodie
"Hey it's fine I promise"
I blush a little more and check the time it's 11:00pm
"Oh sorry I have to go bye snappy"
"Bye Karl"
I hang up and turn off my pc then flop into my bed and text Nick on my phone

Karl: good night 💗

Karl: love you

I looked to see that he saw what I said and start to overthink "wait should I not have said that what if he's uncomfortable I should maybe delete it you know what I'm just going to go to sleep"
I turn off my phone and lights and fall asleep to the sounds of rain from outside the window
