Chapter Two: Meet Again.
...
Despite their best efforts to move forward, the Titans struggled with the loss of their friend. Two years was a long time, yet also not long at all. Time had a way of stretching the wounds, leaving a lingering ache that resurfaced at unexpected moments.
A lot of things had changed in two years.
The Titan's iconic tower, once reduced to rubble during the chaos of Trigon's reign, had been painstakingly reconstructed. The scars of battle were erased, replaced by a gleaming structure that stood as a testament to their resilience.
Each member of the team had been forced to grow up and face the realities of life. The burdens of responsibility weighed heavily on their shoulders, and the carefree days of their youth seemed like distant memories. Half of their once youthful ranks had crossed the threshold into adulthood, prompting the decision to shed their moniker of 'Teen' and embrace the new title of Titans.
Amidst all the changes and the relentless passage of time, the bond they shared with their fallen comrade remained unbreakable. Her memory lived on in their hearts, a cherished reminder of the moments that had shaped their lives together. Yet, the ache of her absence lingered, surfacing with every quiet reminder of her loss.
Passing her door in the halls or finding her favorite tea mug tucked away in the cupboard brought a fresh wave of sorrow, a poignant reminder of the immeasurable void her departure had left behind. But nothing stirred their pain more deeply than the shadow of Trigon. Whenever his name arose, the grief they carried became almost unbearable, a stark reflection of the sacrifice Raven had made to protect them all.
Brother Blood, also known as Sebastian Blood, was the ninth individual to assume the name of Brother Blood, as demanded by the eight generations of tradition. Whoever held such a title was recognized as the High Priest of the Church of Blood, and commanded loyalty from legions of loyal followers, who worshiped the demonic entity known as Trigon.
The Titans were acutely aware of Brother Blood's malevolent planning, a sense of foreboding gnawing at their collective perception. They understood that formidable as he may be, Brother Blood's grandiose schemes were destined to crumble without the presence of Raven as a guiding light. Her powers and profound connection to Trigon were the cornerstone that held his aspirations of world domination together.
Yet, a frustrating shroud of uncertainty surrounded Brother Blood's true intentions, leaving the Titans in a state of high vigilance. The absence of concrete knowledge compelled them to remain on constant alert, knowing all too well the insidious nature of their foe. They recognized the imminent threat he posed, his cunning and treachery capable of unleashing untold chaos upon the world they swore to protect.

Richard stood resolutely in the dimly lit common room, his eyes fixed on the glowing computer screen before him. A web of interconnected data sprawled across the display, casting flickering shadows on his face. The weight of what lay ahead pressed heavily on his shoulders, etching lines of determination into his features.
"The dates align." He said, breaking the silence with a calm intensity that cut through the oppressive stillness. His words were directed at the figure beside him, his tone carrying the gravity of the revelation. "Whatever Brother Blood has planned, it's happening tonight."
A soft, mournful sigh escaped Kori's lips. She clutched her arm and cast her gaze downward, the weight of their battles and the lingering shadow of Trigon pressing on her spirit. The mere mention of their ancient enemy stirred a familiar ache—a mix of sorrow, exhaustion, and the haunting memories of sacrifice.
