"I can't believe there's an akuma attack on Christmas Day." Ladybug groans, clipping her yo-yo to her belt. Yes, it was an easy battle, but seriously? Can't Hawkmoth just enjoy the festive season?
"I don't mind. I got to see you," Chat grins.
"Shut up," Ladybug jokes, pushing him away. Does the guy ever run out of excuses?
"I got you a present," he smile brighter, and Ladybug resists the urge to roll her eyes.
"What is it, Chaton?"
"Close your eyes, okay?"
Ladybug obliges. She's grown to like Chat Noir's little games. Plus, it's not hurting anyone.
"Okay, open up!"
Ladybug pauses. "You put a bow on your head? That's my present?" She tries to not laugh-her sense of humour is warped, and it only takes Chat's confused face to set her off.
"Me!" Chat shouts. "I'm the present. Me."
"Huh?"
"I'm your Christmas gift." He grins. "Like it?"
Ladybug pauses. "But you were already mine," she grins.
Chat Noir has to call on every ounce of his strength in order to not fall onto the ground. Sometimes he forgets just how much he likes Ladybug. Just when he thinks she's going to leave him alone, she speaks up again.
"Regifting is very rude, you know?" She adds with a kiss on his cheek. Chat Noir goes bright red.
"Apologies, I shall keep that in mind next time,"
What's with the 1880's talk? He scowls to himself, but Ladybug doesn't seem bothered by it. Actually, she looks amused. But nothing could have prepared him for what she would say next.
"Anyway, since you're my gift and all,"
"Yes?"
"Do I get to unwrap you now?"
"What?" Chat Noir shouts.
Ladybug flashes bright red and buried her face in her hands. "The bow! The bow! I was talking about the bow! It's all wrapped around your head and it looks painful, I'm sorry."
"It's fine!" Chat Noir says. "I promise it's fine!"
"I'm such a dork, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay, I promise. Not gonna lie, watching you get all flustered was a pretty decent Christmas gift."
"Chaton,"
"What?"
"You better run. Because if I get my hands on you, you're going to regret ever opening your mouth."
